The best mexican cuisine in the village, Palisades, Tahoe.

The nachos I had tasted very bland. I paid extra to add meat, which they did not add, and the $15.00 Captain and coke I ordered was the most expensive coke I've ever had.

Food is always awesome, we always get the Gnar-Garita which is FUN, service has been great.
Took off 1 star because the bartender couldn't have been more RUDE when I was looking for the bathroom. He shouted at me, was angry and basically vented that everyone goes the wrong way then laughed as he shook a drink. Made me feel awful and embarassed. If people are going the wrong way often, it sounds like you need better signage. And a kinder bartender. This was 7/27/24.

The food there is good, I do recommend the food but the service absolutely terrible we WERE returning clients from LA this is our 4th time in Lake Tahoe every visit we make here we would always go back to Tremigos but this certainly might’ve been our last. I ordered one of their agua frescas which is a Jamaica I asked for no ice because usually the cups are filled to the top with ice the waitress came back with an even smaller cup than from the original ones they pour it in and was filled in not even HALF WAY. I ended up telling her to charge me a regular because it was ridiculous there’s no refills on these either and it’s not cheap either ! One of the people from our party ordered a michelada with MINERAL WATER no alcohol in it and charged it as a michelada WITH ALCOHOL she DID NOT take it off of the bill after we said it wasn’t with alcohol nor did she care instead gave us attitude and was talking back the whole time didn’t offer us if we wanted to speak to the manager or nothing she simply just walked away and didn’t ever come back with a solution WORST WAITRESS EVER. Tremigo you really need to work on your staff we’ve had an issue with that waitress in the past as well and we decided to let it go but this is the second time we’ve had issues with her !

Some of the best Mexican food I have had. We sat in the back so it was away from any action and the server didn’t show up for 15 minutes after we arrived.

Went for lunch and had horrible service. I was gaslit by the server when I questioned the carnitas tacos I ordered because I thought they looked like ground beef. He responded with attitude and would not bring me what I ordered. Now looking at photos of other diners on these reviews, I can see that I was right. Below average food, overpriced. Would not recommend.

My wife ordered tacos here, there was a live bug crawling in her food and the wait staff was rather indifferent just offered to remake the food. Would not recommend.

Worst Mexican Food Ever!
The guacamole was green, but that’s the only thing it had in common with an avocado. It tasted similar to grocery store guacamole.
The carnitas were horrible, most certainly old leftovers. There were no chunks of meat, not one! They had the appearance of hash browns, fried flat, hard and dry.
The rice was also dry, and flavorless.
The server was very sweet, but she had so many tables and the service was poor.
If you’re looking for good Mexican food, take a pass on this place.

Incredible tequila selection with bartenders who know how to make good margaritas (sweet or not).
Food is solid, big portions for very reasonable prices.
Service has been prompt and polite on more than one occasion!
