Super friendly and helpful staff, helped me fill a big order (for me anyways!), and being one of the few Dutch food markets left in So Cal, I was glad to find most of my favs from Holland, cheese, eel, salt herring, breads, and various Dutch candy(ies), so, ...make a visit, load up on some Dutch goodies and support one of the last physical stores with products from Holland!

I stop by when I’m in the area so it’s a real treat when I find myself nearby. This was my third attempt in 6 months to have some bloedworst sliced. Always an excuse, it’s too late we close in 1 1/2 hours (all services should be available during store hours), I just cleaned the slicer but with attitude”ok I’ll do it”, ( no never mind I don’t want to put you out) then today well no we are remodeling and you should call ahead but ok. Then she checked with someone else that was outside sitting on the tailgate of a truck and I was told no “it doesn’t look good and I don’t want to get you sick”.
Very dissatisfied.
I need to give them a shout out for going above and beyond for me. My mom was in the hospital and they VERY quickly put together a care package for her and got it into the mail that day. Cheese and drops were fresh and well priced. The breakfast cake (ontbijkoek?) smelled sooo good and was delicious. I always go here when I'm in town. But I can't thank them enough for making my mom's recovery easier.
My Oma recommended this Dutch store and I’m so grateful I listened to her❤️It not only has my favorite Sambal Manis, but the woman that owns the store is so helpful and a beautiful person.

They brought back memories
I've been coming here for years for my Dutch treats. When I stopped by the other day, I noticed that prices had gone up significantly. For example, a small piece of Gouda cheese was over$7,00. You can buy a good slice at Costco for less than$10,00. The same is true with chocolate sprinkles. But, it's still one of the few places I go to when I'm in the area.
Parking: It's located in the same parking lot as Stater Bros.

I feel sorry I need to write this review. I was in the store a few days ago and bought $180 worth of items. To have gone there occasionally I don't mind spending a little money, however , they are extremely overpriced. I compared prices to Amazon ( for the licorice), v/d Veens and the Holland American store in Bellflower. Dutch bakery runs a few dollars more per item on the items I compared. I had the thought that their favorite number must be 5.95 , as the majority of items regardless are each priced 5.95.I called them today because I bought 2 containers of goud kuipje spreadable cheese. I opened one today and the item had " seperated", runny and chunks , and smelled like a really bad rotten blue cheese or something.. just disgusting and the whole house stunk from it. She called me back and said that the next time I was in they'd give me another one. You know, I am totally over them now it was so disgusting, I will never eat it again in my life, I don't think. Why would they not just offer the money back?? Very strange! The other item was the chocolate covered orange sticks. The inside was not a jellied orange candy inside, but the candy had crystallized inside. The chocolate was white covered on the outside, indicating it had been melted and exposed to too high a heat. She said she could not do anything me on those because the expiration date on them is 8/ 2024. In either case, something happened to them to ruin them... probably in the summer they sat in extreme heat. I bought a box of chocolate for my daughter as a gift I'll be giving her in 2 weeks when I see her. I sure hope the chocolate in the box is fine.My advice is , be careful what you purchase.. some items are old and spoiled.

I make it a point to go there when I'm in the area. A nice variety of Dutch products and great customer service.

I bought some Dutch chocolate and a roll of mentos!
So authentic, from the initial aroma when I walked in, to the wonderful selections. (I've been going here for over 40 years)
Watch out for protein items with freezer burn among the shrink-wrapped proteins with broken seals. I see more and more of these lately as the owners appear intent on selling these no matter what.
Small store but it's just enough. Always carries what I go in for. And they're always very friendly.
Great location and great selection! Friendly service too!
