The hostess was rude and stared me down for 5 minutes after I asked her how long the wait was. We had an 8:15 reservation. We arrived on time and were seated 20 minutes later after she told us it would only be a couple minutes. I witnessed 3 servers come to the host station requesting more tables. The hostess was clearly power tripping and had multiple tables waiting that could have been sat.

This visit to Black Angus was far better than the last time we were there. All the staff appeared to be not so overwhelmed and much friendlier. The food was good. Steak and prime rib were ordered medium; cooked exactly as ordered. Good job on the improvement of the staff and food.

Seated right away. Waitress was friendly and always coming by to check on us. We got the Black Angus app and used the coupon for the campfire feast. The zucchini appetizer were the best! So full, we had to take our desserts to go.

We waited for a while until someone came to our table. For the price we paid, we would have been better off at Texas Roadhouse as they have better tasting steaks! We went New Year's Eve, and they were not busy (for good reason) and our order was completely mixed up between our table. One steak cooked Medium with the wrong side that someone else ordered. An absolute Cluster F&*%! We had to send one back because it was prepared Rare, and we asked for Medium ( BIG DIFFERENCE) It was talking to us when it got to the table. Spent over $280 for 5 people, RIP OFF! All we wanted was a good steak, and they were not good at all. tough, chewy and again for what we paid, should have left! Then there was a child playing a harmonica....I understand having and eating out with kids, but it was so constant and annoying, because it was not stopping, that others were complaining as well. Just not what we hoped for at all. Wont be back there again!

It was pretty quiet for New Year's Eve (6:30) and we were seated fairly quickly. The service was a little bit slow (we got our drinks after we were served our salads), but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. I had the filet mignon special which came with two sides. It was a really great price but I'm almost certain I was served a top sirloin steak, not a filet mignon. I asked the waiter (who checked with the chef) and he assured me it was a filet. But I have to say, it was the thinnest, toughest filet mignon I have ever seen or heated! It looked and tasted like their small top sirloin. For the price, and it being a holiday, I wasn't super surprised, just a little bit disappointed. I should have just paid full price for a better steak in the first place!

Food was good, but I feel the taste and/or quality has declined slightly with Black Angus over the years. Still a good steakhouse for the cost. Took time between requests to get what we asked for and several times our waitress forgot until she came back and saw us.

I paid for their $30 Celebration package (ballons, card, etc.), put the request in my reservation and called ahead to confirm it. It was still forgotten. The lighting was extremely bright above a few tables, including ours. The waiter was unaware of the special experience they serve on the menu. Our food was brought 10 min apart so my date finished long before my food arrived (it was a 3 course meal). For the second course my date got the wrong food. I got my food without the pairing drink. Mashed potatoes were served falling off the plate like bad school lunch, touching the table while it was slid across. The waiter was unaware and unattentive. After our bread, appetizers, and first course all of the plates and trays were piled on the table edge of a botth meant for a group. It became a game to see if it would ever be cleared. While waiting on the proper second course to come and the drink pairing we got up and left. There is more to write but not worth the time. However, on our way out a manager did attempt to make the situation better by offering gift cards, to go order on the house and more. We declined but the act was much appreciated!

It was great service, but the steaks are getting too pricy for that level of a restaurant. It appears they have raised prices and lowered the quantity of offerings. The hot spinach artichoke dip was good and a lot smaller than the last time we ordered it. My chopped salad was excellent, however, the potatoes the others in my party were much smaller then before. We probably will not be back.

Overall we like Black Angus steak house and take advantage of their specials. We don't drink, just water so I can't tell you much about their beverages. They do have a happy hour and some specials during football games if you like to eat in the bar.

Typically, the food is as good as the service. Not this last time. There for a birthday celebration. The waitress was wonderful. Always there when needed, not hovering. Fast with the appetizers, food, dessert. She did a great job. Food this time was mediocre at best. One guest could barely cut their chicken breast with a steak knife. Very over done. Three of us ordered steaks medium rare. Maybe there was a small amount of pink in the middle, but not much, considering it was supposed to be medium rare. They were even not easy to cut. Never had such a negative experience with the food for ALL the guests. Maybe here or there, but this time, it was everyone. Will we go back, yes. This was not the normal.

We are usually good customers of Black Angus as we place reservations if not once a month, but can be up to 2-3 times a month. So on Saturday, Dec 2 was no different. Reservation was for 7:00PM, We arrived 15 minutes early and knew that arriving early would seat us or close if not at our reservation time. Well, that didn't happen. The restaurant was full in the waiting area. Most of the people waiting were walk-ins. We checked in with the really nice hostess at the desk and she advised us that there were a lot of walk-ins and we said well we were not walk-ins we have a reservation. We were not seated by our reservation time! it was close to an hour AFTER our reservation time! We were not too happy! Once we did get seated, ordered our food, that too turned into a disaster. Ordered the Fall Trio, my wife's steak was sirloin and was ordered medium. It came well done and tough to eat. The lobster tails we both had were dry and old tasting. Needless to say, we did not finish our lobster tails. It took over 40 minutes to get our main entrees. We did advise the server regarding the steak and lobster issues as aforementioned and he tried to replace with a dessert, but we told him no, check please and we left. Not too sure if we will be returning too soon. The issue with the reservation time falls on the manager. There were several other customers that had reservations and they too had issues with getting seated. It is sad to see a hostess having to clear tables and try to keep up with reservations and walk-ins. That is a manager problem for not having enough staff to clear out tables. We observed several tables that sat for over 1/2 hour that needed cleaning to be able to seat customers and again, not enough staff to do so which falls on the manager.

I got my usual and it was fabulous. I had a reservation and was seated nearly a half hour later, but that was to be expected since the Trans-Siberian Orchestra was playing at the Toyota Arena. The staff was still very organized and my food was delicious and my ribeye was cooked perfectly. My server was fabulous, Jose, I believe. I left happy.

Our server was new. First time! So he had some learning to do (should have been trained better). Brought hubby's soup before the appetizer (had to correct that). Wife's steak was overcooked. Brought the wrong dessert (didn't even know what it was that we ordered). So basically we trained our server. He had a good attitude though and we all had a laugh. Realized on the way home we were overcharged on the price of the meal by $5 but it wasn't worth the hassle of calling BA. Have had better dining experiences.

Our Thanksgiving dinner at Black Angus Restaurant in Ontario, Ca. was outstanding...The food was very well done and the service was excellent even though there were a lot of customers... The reservations were very well handled...we only had to wait less than five minutes when we arrived... This is our third Thanksgiving Dinner that we have spent in this Restaurant and all have excellent... M.G.Haro

We had to wait 10 min. beyond our reservation time. Service was a little slow. Food was very good and portions were plentiful. Staff server staff was friendly. Reception staff cold and not very responsive.
