Seated right away. Waitress was friendly and always coming by to check on us. We got the Black Angus app and used the coupon for the campfire feast. The zucchini appetizer were the best! So full, we had to take our desserts to go.
It was pretty quiet for New Year's Eve (6:30) and we were seated fairly quickly. The service was a little bit slow (we got our drinks after we were served our salads), but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. I had the filet mignon special which came with two sides. It was a really great price but I'm almost certain I was served a top sirloin steak, not a filet mignon. I asked the waiter (who checked with the chef) and he assured me it was a filet. This visit to Black Angus was far better than the last time we were there. All the staff appeared to be not so overwhelmed and much friendlier. The food was good. Steak and prime rib were ordered medium; cooked exactly as ordered. Good job on the improvement of the staff and food.
