This Filipino bakery is amazing! The Manila coffee was excellent. It had just the right amount of ube flavor. We also ordered the pandan milk tea and the panddan brownie, which both were very delicious. We tried the beef empanada and the crinkles... both were soo good! This place is definitely our new go to place and will order catering for family gatherings in the future.

Very happy to have this place as a local bakery. The cookies, cakes, drinks and everything are excellent. Honestly, I would drive from much further just to shop here. I also like the unique Filipino flavors, unlike any other dessert shop nearby.

My dad introduced me to Kape Republik and said I needed to try their Halo-Halo because it is one of the best he’s tried in SoCal.He was right! The Halo-Halo was one of the best I’ve had! The ice was fine, the beans weren’t hard, it has chewy boba, Ube halaya, jackfruit, an assortment of other mix-ins, and it’s topped with a scoop of Ube ice cream and crunchy pinipig. It’s a little sweet but it’s such a great treat. (Note: The 2nd time I ordered, it didn’t have Ube Halaya).I also enjoyed their Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie - so chewy and good. They have a variety of crinkles (pandan, strawberry, mocha, guava, etc.) but my favorite is the Chocolate Fudge Crinkle. I also enjoyed their Calamansi Juice.Kape Republik is located just west of the 15 and south of the 60 in Ontario Ranch/Eastvale across the parking lot from Rodeo X. They have a handful of parking spaces at storefront shared with Rodeo X. This cute little shop is inviting. The service here has always been great. The young lady at the counter is super sweet and so kind. She has such a welcoming and friendly smile!Overall, I’ve visited a few times now and will be back again. Especially for yummy Halo-Halo! :)Parking: A handful of parking at storefront, shared with other businesses.

My first time coming here was for the coffee. I work around the area so I wanted to try something different other than my usual starbs. Their coffee is about a 3 out of 5 BUT their empanadas are so delicious. I even got two of my co workers hooked. This past week I tried for my very first time ever an ube crinkle and I was NOT disappointed. I am a little disappointed that I live far from here because now I crave it and I have to wait until I actually am at work. Customer service is always great and I always get the same lady in the mornings. She's so sweet! Anyways y'all should come here and take care of your sweet tooth and try the empanadas!

Cute place and unique pastry options. The ube cigar pastry is so good along with their coffee. It's a cold brew but they can make it hot as well but it tastes better as cold.

Not disappointed at all. It's hard to find a good cake ready to go. I was a little skeptical about the Ube cake but it was better than the chocolate cake and surprised everyone on how good it was including the frosting.

3.5 starsOutdoor: handful of parkingIndoor: cute, small but cleanWe must've arrived too late in the day because there wasn't as many selections as we saw on the online menu. The crinkles, cheese rolls, and cheesecakes were good but not anything I'd drive across town to buy. My friend did not enjoy the ground beef(?) filling inside the empanada. We might give this cute bakery another try ...

I've been here a couple times in the last year, though if I lived closer, I'd probably come by once a week to get my ube fix. Parking is shared with Rodeo X. The interior is clean and vibey. I also appreciate that their space is equipped with an air purifier (personal preference and observation from last visit a few months ago).My favorite item is the Ube Tres Leches cake, which I'll always take with me, but I've also tried the crinkle cookies, danish, and ube flan cupcake. My focus has been on their baked goods but hopefully I'll have a chance to try their drink menu. Staff are always kind. Will be back again soon when I'm in the area again.

We happen to stumble upon this very cute Filipino dessert place in the Ontario Ranch shopping center. The owner was super friendly and nice! The desserts were amazing. If you’re on any kind of diet, this is a place you shouldn’t go to lol I know, coz we did and oh boy did we break it!!! But all worth it!!! Kape Republik is the super cool place and conveniently located to other cool eateries. Recommend you try it!Parking: There are plenty of parking spots. The place is located behind the main building, it is towards the back near a play area for kids and lots of outdoor seating with tables and chairs!

Where to start?Customer service is fantastic and one of the reasons why I did a 2nd star. As I continue my review, you'll see why customer service was excellent. I ordered my cake about a month prior to my party, along with 10 regular 3 Leches cupcakes. I did not want the Ube flavored 3 Leches, so I asked if it could be done and they said yes. It is even stated in my receipt as "regular 3 leches".The cake was absolutely adorable and the decorations were exactly as I requested. This was one of the cutest cakes I'd seen in person. This is another reason for the 2nd star. I paid and left. Then realized I didn't get my cupcakes. I go back to the bakery and they said they were JUST finishing up the frosting. They said no more than "5" minutes. (I waited about 15-20) I, personally, believe they forgot the cupcakes and did what they could with what they had on hand. For my troubles, they gave me a free coffee and 2 extra cupcakes. SWEET!! As I get in my car, I check the cupcakes and they're the wrong color and wrong flavor but it is too late to do anything about it. Now flavor. The Ube 3 Leches cupcakes were good at best. Nothing to rave about. They were cute. Purple as can be. They looked like roses. My party was XBox themed for my 19 year old son. The cake I bought was green (XBox theme) cupcakes purple ?? The cake, albeit adorable, was way too sweet and too dry. Too rich, just too thick. It was not worth the money and time I spent at this location, and although I WILL go back to try their cookies and continue enjoying their coffee, I do not recommend their cakes, nor the cupcakes.I do not have pictures as I was in a hurry.

This place is a walk in bakery type. There are a few seats to wait for your order and outdoor public seating. It's not very big but showcases most of their items for sale. Very island theme. Visited this place three times so far. The first 2 times were close in months, the pastries were delicious. This is my 3rd time visiting after about a year.We got 3 crinkles: birthday flavor, red velvet and cookies and cream. These were dry and left an odd taste in my mouth. So we'll probably pass on those for next time. The beef and chicken empanada were just ground beef and ground chicken. No peas, carrots or anything inside. That was pretty disappointing. The mango juice was ok, nothing too spectacular. The ube cupcake with leche flan were both not overly sweet but it was also not fresh. Seems like they are 1-2 days old. Service was standard, not above friendly or informative. This place used to have some heart in it but on the most recent visit, I didn't get that vibe. I want to like this shop and continue coming but this last trip was lackluster! Hopefully improvements can be made soon!
