“This is one of my favorite places in the area. I used to work close by and would have lunch here all the time. I was back in the area, shopping with my wife, and we stopped by and ate lunch. The food was as perfect as I remember! The gyros are fantastic! I got fries on the side, it was the perfect amount of food. I always leave wanting more, but quite satisfied. My wife had the chicken special, leg, and thigh on rice. She really liked it as well. I remember getting thier Kabobs and their chicken, it's all really good. I'm glad to see that it is every bit as good as I remembered.“

Was having a tough time making the selections for the order and Ana and Priscilla were extremely patient and helpful. They made excellent recommendations and were friendly in the process. “I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I love how tasty their food is. I had the Lafta wrap and a Kafta plate. The way I devoured it all was insane. The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. I absolutely loved this place and I loo forward to coming back!

I love the food I love the service, the place is very clean. The service is topnotch. They are very helpful in teaching you what the food is about also the portions are very generous. They was a mixed falafel sandwich that I had was about a foot-long and had many layers of flavor that is unmatched with any other falafel sandwich I've ever had. I also ordered the chicken Shawarma plate and needless to say is just as delicious as the falafel sandwich every time I go there I make sure to try something new. I have not been steered wrong or regretted any new adventure on their menu. There is a wide variety of foods if you're very picky there is something there for you to eat if you're vegan or vegetarian there is a lot of options for you. I recommend this place. “My husband and I have been trying to explore more local spots lately we’re so over the same old chain restaurants and this little Mediterranean gem totally delivered. We’ve been twice now and it’s been sooo good both times. The food is packed with flavor, super fresh, and leaves you feeling full but not weighed down. You can tell everything is made with care. It’s one of those places you almost want to keep a secret… but they deserve all the love. We’ll definitely be back again!“

“West there Saturday night and the young man who was there as a cashier was amazing , greeting with a smile and very attentive to taking orders was amazing . He was very accommodating to giving us extra garlic sauce for our meal . It’s been a very long time going into a take out restaurant and seeing a positive atmosphere that this employee shows . “Pretty good experience! The lamb chops were super flavorful and grilled to perfection. The food took a bit longer as I’ve come to expect at Mediterranean spots.

The lamb chops had two sizes and I ordered the larger one and apparently the cashier entered the order incorrectly for the regular size. He let me know after they started cooking and I said I was fine with the regular size combo and didn’t want to go through the hassle of refunding and paying again. It was no biggie. I could probably do better by eating less from time to time.

After the food came out, it seemed like they gave me the large size after all. It wasn’t necessary, but it was a nice gesture. The beets salad, baba ghanoush were great additions to the lamb chops. The rice and pita were a bit lacking and left much to be desired, but the garlic sauce helped. The pita was much thicker than other places and was a bit dry. The rice didn’t have any flavor compared to other Mediterranean spots. I had to mix all the garlic sauce into the rice to give it an upgrade. The beef shawarma was very flavorful and well cooked.

We’ll be back to this place to give it another go.“

“You can stop right here folks; this is the best food of this type in the area and I've tried them all. I ordered the Queeni Special which includes Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken. The Shrimp was perfectly cooked and not over-done. The Beef and Chicken were also perfectly cooked. The Beef was especially tender. The hummus was outstanding. “Great place for shopping, fresh fruit and veggies cans of all types. I love the cheeses that they have the dairy products. They bake fresh bread everyday and they have better bread as well. Naan bread and some different type of breads. They also I love the cuisines, the barbecue meat and the falafel. The hummus dip. And I love the shawarma meat and chicken on the grill. Beautiful place. First disappointment, this place doesn’t just sell the only meat, either a pita sandwich or a plate, which I need since I made my own sides. Second disappointment after order something I wanted since you don’t sell just the meat, my order was so over cooked and dry, the cooked seems to and extra sauce to make moist again- pretty disappointed.
