Visited today and I had to say the food was AMAZING. My mother who is VERY picky loved the food as well. We live 40 minutes away the food, the chicken in particular plus the peach cobbler was still hot and warm. There are several things we look for meat in collard greens, enough crust in the peach cobbler, if the portions are decent, and if the food is hot and they did everything right which is rare in this area! Staff was nice as well. They care and it shows so we will definitely be back!

Food was delightful and well worth it I recommend coming here for the turkey chops smothered (optional) cornbread was great 👍🏾. Love seeing good black owned business at such great quality. Y'all come on down. Grab you a sweet tea, this some real sweet tea too.

My first time ordering (DoorDash) from this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of my dinner. I had the oxtails with rice and gravy with yams and extra rice and gravy. They smother the oxtails with rice and gravy so you don't need to order it as a side. The flavor of oxtails were amazing along with the portions. So many restaurants today are downsizing their portions but not here. This dinner is enough for two! Thank you and I will be returning!

I tried the catfish platter with yams, cabbage, and added macaroni and cheese, and everything was really tasty. I will definitely return whenever I am in the mood for some comforting soul food..

Food tasted great, and I was surprised as theargw portion of fish I received. Normally, restaurants give you small portions even when the meal is expensive, but I enjoyed the taste of.the fish and the yams were excellent. The prices were the same as most other restaurants.

Order a Turkey for a Company Potluck and it was by far the best Turkey I can remember having!!! Definitely will be ordering another Turkey once they are available

Great food and service. Quiet atmosphere. We had the catfish dinner and the shrimp dinner and had leftovers to take home. Very reasonable pricing for the amount and quailty of food you get.

Must try spot. I ordered the smothered fried pork chops and kool-aid. The pork chops came with gravy, rice and onions. I wouldn't change a thing about it. The kool aid is mixed in house and it tasted how kool-aid should. The meal was delicious. The service was even better than the food. Attentive and friendly. It was like he was an old friend who I haven't seen in a while , but it was my first time there. I will be going back. Have to try some other dishes, but the pork chops were so good I might have to get them again.

Great food!! Freash hot crispy fried chicken!!!! I absolutely will be back if they are still open, it was empty, myself and my daughter were the only customers. It would be a shame if they dont pick up business. They are only open Thursday-Sunday. If you love you some good better then KFC, cains or Popeyes chicken then give this place a chance!!!

Visiting from the East Coast we were struggling to satisfy our taste buds on a budget and limited time. I saw this place on day 1 when we arrived. Finally got here on day 5 for dinner and BABY....it DID NOT disappoint. My crew were all pleasantly pleased and they rocked that food out fresh, hot and quick. They even give you a bag worthy enough to carry the weight of the meal instead of those cheap bags most places give you.
