On 10/11 around 6 pm. I'm disappointed with the service from the two ladies, specifically the Hispanic and African American workers. They mixed up my order with a DoorDash order. When I politely pointed out the missing items, they insisted the fries were in the bag. After double-checking and returning to the counter, the lady was rude, claiming they were sure about the fries. I asked her to check for herself, but she never apologized. Eventually, the DoorDash driver returned with our fries. Despite a $100+ order, the service lacked courtesy, and I won't be returning.she sounded annoyed before all of that because i asked for some plates and sauces. Their attitude may hinder their success in the long run.hope they are enjoying being rude to their customers.

We were promptly greeted by Andrew immediately upon arrival. He was cheerful and patient as each person in my party ordered separately.He did not even seem bothered that I asked him to upgrade the drinks to the frozen lemonade, even though he had to reopen the order and go back in to manually delete them.I appreciate him and all the associates there who helped us and provided courteous service. He even checked on us to see if we liked the food.All the food was correct in the order. The chicken sandwich was tasty and fresh; the 2-piece meal was wonderful - fresh, crispy chicken served piping hot with creamy mashed potatoes and flavorful gravy. The wings were saucy and sweet with a mild hint of heat, and the chicken tenders were light and crispy. Even the fries were hot and crispy. Everything here was good, and we all enjoyed the pleasant helpfulness of the staff.I wondered about the mid Google Maps rating but overheard another customer telling the associate that the new cook is excellent. He said that the food previously was not up to the present high standard. His exact words were, "The food is on point!" Rest assured, the food and service we received was of the highest quality.Be advised that this restaurant is located within a truck stop, and other restaurants share the dining area.The truck stop is bright and clean, and I saw families and kids. Trucks park in the back. The whole place was quiet for a Saturday and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant.P.S. We drove out of our way to get to this Popeye's because the first one did not have an "A" from the health department, and it was well-worth the drive. Thankfully, this one does have an "A"!P.P.S. The food looks much better in person. I took the pictures on an Android phone, lol.

Pre-ordered for 9:35pm online said 10pm close. I was able to place the order for 935, why was it closed and why was I not informed? I was offered a $20 credit online or in the app. It covered my meal just not my satisfaction.

I was amazed at the time two managers talked about how they were hourly and when they were off as the counter girl waited as long as she could before she went back and dropped my shrimp ( disgusting and under cooked ) I watched the manager bring a new hire out and told the other managers to just throw another body at it !!

So, if you're hungry and craving your food right away, it can be a bit frustrating. However, the cashier was incredibly polite and upfront about the situation. She informed me that they were making a fresh batch of chicken, which would take about 10 minutes. I have to admit, I was quite hungry, but I believe that communication is key. Her honesty made me patient, and the wait turned out to be completely worth it. The chicken was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised because I had expected a rushed preparation, which might result in improperly cooked chicken. However, it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place. I visited around 7 PM, and they were bustling with customers, so be prepared to wait, especially if you're stopping by at the last minute. Don't get frustrated; the wait is definitely worth it."I hope this revised review helps convey your experience more effectively.

For the past two or three weeks of coming here they never have sweet tea. Nothing else goes better with chicken and red beans than popyes sweet tea. Do better or ill start ordering uber eats instead.
