This place is a joke.
The Manager Andres Rubio aka "Andy" is having an affair with a server that works there, her name is Larissa D.

The manager Andres aka "Andy" is having an affair with a server that works there - Larissa D.
He will close off the dining room so they can "fool around" and then would brag about it to the other male coworkers.
Corporate has been notified.
Had a party of 16 which was nice of Andy to accommodate us. The service was terribly slow. It was in a Saturday and they were out of certain items we wanted to which I was told that they had a busy week and they ran out. Poorly planned by the restaurant manager then. How can you not stick up for Saturday service which is usually the busiest day of the week.
Next time we may try Wabi Sabi and hope for a better experience.

Menu
Tokyo Wako, located in the Ontario Gateway Center, offers a variety of dining options including a sushi bar, teppan grill, and a "bar-bar." Lunch portions are generous and come with soup and rice, while fried rice is available for an extra cost. The steak and chicken are cooked perfectly, and the veggies are fresh. Parking is plentiful. Although dinner service can be slow with long waits for seating and drink orders, the chef's cooking and interaction make up for it. Chef German has received praise for being attentive and cooking with passion. The restaurant is clean, and the teppan grill experience is highly recommended. Some guests have noted that the food is good, and the wait staff is quick and attentive, but there have been complaints about the manager's rudeness, which affected the overall experience for some diners.
