As a certified matcha-holic, who has spent considerable time in Japan, I ordered the matcha latte and this is the WORST Matcha I've ever had...it tasted like dirty water and is clearly not ceremonial grade. They skimp out by using culinary grade, this is not worth the 40 minute wait or $6. Go to Urth cafe instead, a better use of $8.

Pretty decent coffee place. The espresso/americano is alright. VTM coffee is not for me though - too sweet for my taste buds. Their bowls - vegetarian and meat - have been a hit in our household. We usually take things to go since it's super crowded in the little shop area Blk Dot has, though we have sat outside on occasion.Their ice teas are pretty good and you can add lychee jelly to green tea for a home run!The pastries are alright, nothing too special.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian options. The bowls have been a big hit for us!Parking: They have a parking lot in-between their shop and Bluestone Lane that I usually can park at. You can try street parking or the Orange Garage next to the station a few blocks down as well.

The Uji Matcha Latte were also okay, matcha flavor wasn't a strong matcha taste.The breakfast bowls were good when eating the bowl ingredients together. The potato seasoning was a bit salty for me. Expensive for the bowl portion.

my friends love coming to this coffee shop, with one of my best friends always dying to come back here. I got a matcha latte, my usual order when I don't know if I will like their coffee. It was pretty good! We have also ordered their breakfast bowls, those are so delicious. The service is okay imo and for the food I would come again for a healthy quick bite but I prefer other coffee shops instead.

The peppermint vietnamese iced coffee was smooth and lovely and CAB sandwich was delicious! the staff was friendly :) parking might be tricky when its busy times, but they serve quick if you find close parking on the corner.

One of the worst coffee experiences I've ever had. Firstly, their most popular drink, the Vietnamese coffee, isn't made in house. It's pre-made and brought in. I'm like imagining them stocking up on the Lee's coffees from Costco then pouring it in my cup. I love Vietnamese iced coffee as well, so i was really disappointed. We also got their avocado toast and brekkie bowl. The toast was so sad. It's this thick piece of bread with barely any avocado on it and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. The bowl was a little better, but still nothing I'd be excited to order again. I really wish this was better bc they're everywhere now so it would be easy to get my Vietnamese coffee fix, but I don't want to settle

For the Irvine Spectrum location I came here eager to try their coffee for the first time but you had to pay with a credit card a very nice couple paid for me and I was very very grateful, coffee was great but one thing that I had forgotten about was before meeting the couple who'd been so kind and generous to buy my coffee for me they've was another time where I'd gone by there myself only to be told that I had to pay with a credit card and I felt almost discriminated against for being disabled. Needless to say I won't be coming back. From other reviews of this place if you're not Vietnamese then you're automatically going to be shunned
This Blk Dot location is in Old Town Orange and so there's street parking as well as a few parking lots around the area. This one is conveniently located in the corner. It gets a lot of foot traffic. There's few seating areas indoor and there's a restroom towards the back.We ordered a few coffees at this location. It takes a bit to get the order but not a deal breaker. I was a bit surprised to find the taste was inconsistent with the Jamboree Irvine Blk Dot location. I was in love with their Vietnamese coffee and Spanish latte but for some reason, our coffees this day didn't hit the spot.

The spot has fun cozy vibes as it has limited indoor and outdoor seatings!3. The staff were friendly and timely with my drink!4.
