Finally tried this japanese ramen and it was really good! I ordered spicy miso ramen and takoyaki. Broth is flavorful and their takoyaki has a unique taste compared from the usual takoyaki i've tried. Service is fast and staff are really attentive and it was really a good place plus the surroundings. Very peaceful

Menu did not indicate or show that imitation crab flakes would be put on top of my salmon poke bowl. Imitation crab usually has a small amount of shellfish, which I am allergic to, so I could not enjoy most of my meal. I don't appreciate that and wish the menu would have reflected any shellfish.

We came for lunch and I ordered the spicy miso ramen and made that a lunch combo ( small chasu bowl and small salad). The noddles cook just right, chewy. The miso is not too salty and I almost drank all the soup at the end. The runny boiled egg and they pan fired the chasu before cooking it which is special. I’ll recommend this place!
Great craft ramen located in the Orange circle. Noodles were a perfect size and texture and the spicy tonkatsu broth was very flavorful. We also tried the fried baby squid which had a nice, soft and chewy texture to it along with the fried gyoza which were (in my opinion) the star of the show. Service was friendly and attentive and the shop itself if very modern and sleek. There are a lot of ramen places in the OC but Butaton is definitely one worth visiting.

When I tell you this is the best ramen I've ever had in my life, I have to brag about it to everyone. I was craving ramen one day and came here to eat by myself and I'm so glad I did. I throughly got to enjoy my food. I got their signature ramen and it was beyond compare. I loved the spice of it. This is a cute little place with limited seeing but both times I've been here I never had to wait. I brought my sister with me the second time and she loved it so much so brought a friend down to have her try it. It's that good. The service was nice and friendly as well. Definitely want to hit this spot every time I'm in orange!

Cute little spot and super affordable for a college town. The dipping ramen was really good and great value! The karaage chicken wasn't worth the calories in my opinion, but the ramen is the way to go!
