Best espresso tonic I've tried in So Cal!
Lovely specialty coffee in Orange, CA. Plenty of indoor seating with outlets almost at every table. They have a serious variety of coffee beans and simple but delicious menu. Highly recommend the espresso tonic for a lovely refreshing drink!
Play Coffee in Old Towne Orange is exactly the kind of coffee shop I love finding, serious coffee, thoughtful design, and a space that actually feels alive. The Orange location sits in the former Wells Fargo building on Chapman, and they kept enough of that historic character while making it feel modern, open, and very Play. Play Coffee Orange is a unique and inviting café located in the downtown area. The staff are knowledgeable and provide excellent service, while the owners are dedicated to being part of the community. The café boasts a wonderful design with high ceilings and a modern, yet fun aesthetic. The seating may not be the most comfortable, but the coffee itself is exceptional, with the Volcano cappuccino and Volcano latte receiving high praise. Customers can also enjoy the espresso tonic, matcha lattes, tea, and vanilla latte made with house-made syrup. The café is situated in a former bank, adding to its distinctive charm. Snacks from Colossus Bakery complement the coffee experience. With a welcoming atmosphere, Play Coffee Orange is an excellent place to study, work, or meet friends.
