I have a love/hate relationship with Play. Key points: their iced coffees taste like milk with a hint of coffee while their hot coffees are actually quite good. There’s something wrong when an iced shaken maple latte has a huge orange peel and zest in it and is completely overpowered by said orange. When it comes to their pastries, they’re simply not worth the premium that they charge. 1 drink and 2 pastries came out to $20 total which is absurd charging 7 dollars for a mid cookie. All in all, hot drinks and atmosphere is great, everything else is not worth it (I have not tried their matcha so can’t comment on that). Also it’s a mixed bag with the baristas, some are great some are pompous

I was hesitant to have another coffee shop in the Plaza, but safe to say they are a great addition and staple of the downtown. The staff are great and for someone like myself that’s not into the background or logistics of coffee roasting. I can tell they put a lot of care and work into the coffee they serve. The staff are great and very knowledgeable in what they’re making for you and the owners are very nice and you can tell they want to be a part of the community.Parking: If you park in the back area off N Orange St, that’s clearly marked. Be sure to let the teller know when you order your license plate number. If anything, make sure you keep your receipt.

Wow... amazing design!Wonderful experienceStill doin some construction outside but inside is so cool.Gotta check this place out.Very courteous interactions:))We had no idea what we were walking in2...but needless to say we will be coming back to get super charged....often!Highly Recommend ?bSafebHappybWell ?Parking: Large shared free parking ?️-ing lot behind building.Handicap spots upfront near rear entrance and also has a ramp.Side entrance has Handicap parking spots right in front of side entrance door within THE Circle.Front entrance has very limited street parking. If in wheelchair or walker suggest using the rear entrance. Handicap spots usually available & closest access to entrance with ramp.Inside layout is very open and easy to navigate.Wheelchair accessibility: Good job with ADA ComplianceOutside is pretty level. No steps except for curbs.Inside layout is VERY open. Navigation is greatStaff is kind 2 All...but from experience & noticing others the Staff finds discreet ways to assist Us even without having to ask. That's pretty cool.If in wheelchair or walker suggest using back lot with ramp and zero traffic.Handicap parking ?️ spots r near side door by bench just around the circle. Also behind building by back entrance the Handicap spots are right next to back entrance that has a ramp.

Competitively the best coffee in America in my opinion. The cafe is in a beautiful old bank - high ceilings, beautiful design, right on the major square. The design brought in by Play is both fun (expressive colors) and minimal. There are plenty of options for seating, but I wouldn’t call it very comfortable.I got the Volcano as a cappuccino and CHEFS KISS it’s delicious!Parking: There is public parking in the back - it is a paid parking lot with plenty of spots.

Play in Dt Orange can be a hit or miss. Staff are meh, theres a couple baristas who could care less about greeting people and help with their menu. Coffee is okay. Plenty of options. Price is on the heftier side. Their shakerato & Turkish latte is too sweet! Cappuccinos and lattes are decent. Always crowded with laptop/wifi hoarders. Pastries are good in the am. Sometimes hard to find a table even with the abundance of space. Beautiful big space with 7 Eleven restrooms! Bad. Parking in front of shop is complicated but plenty right behind building. Wish I could like it more but needs improvement. Be advised.

Great coffee selection! Really cute set-up. The music and noise aren't super loud, so it is a nice place to get some work done. A lot of college students go here to study. Free wifi.Random item of note: the non-handicapped stall in the women's restroom is quite small, so if you have a backpack or anything else with you it is an extremely tight fit.Dietary restrictions: Milk alternative options availableParking: There's a parking lot behind the building with a bunch of parking.

This coffee shop is the best thing that has happened in Orange since I moved here 2 years ago. Great place to gather, and everyone working there is super nice - also: e s p r e s s o t o n i c ! ! I didn’t think I’d like it but I was delightfully wRoNg?Vegetarian options: Oat milk, vegan donuts ?Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat dairy and my partner is vegan, plenty of options for both of us ??

Located in the bustling orange circle, the addition of this cool cafe is interesting. The space feels too big for the area. There isn't enough seating for the amount of space available. The price for the lattes was a bit steep. The flavors were just okay. Nothing really stood out about it or was special. The servers were nice enough.

Located in a previous bank building, this coffee shop is very spacious with about 10 small tables. The tables were all taken when we went on a Saturday around 3PM, so we sat at a bench outside. The aesthetics are nice and price is around $6.

Wouldn't expect a cute coffee shop with how the exterior looks. My boyfriend who works in the area told me it used to be a bank which does explain a lot since there's parts that reminisce once a bank was once there. Decided on the matcha latte and got the 2nd highest quality matcha they offer. Opted for no sugar so I could taste more of the matcha and I liked it! Matcha taste was strong and was very earthy. Staff was also very friendly and insightful on the drinks. Enjoyed the vibes it gave off and love the coffee/tea making area.

I really dig the vibe of this place! It's taken over an old Wells Fargo bank, so there's still the cool marble columns and bank teller windows. They have a nice coffee and tea/matcha selection. I tried the Volcano Latte, and it was very light and sweet. Seats are limited since it's always busy. The internet is also kind of spotty, I couldn't get my laptop to connect, so I just left. However, it's right at the heart of Old Town Orange, which has a lot of cool restaurants, bars, and cafes within walking distance.

Thank god they don't give you the option to tip, I appreciate that. Great study spot (relatively quiet), though seating is kind of abysmal. The round tables will not be enough if you're coming as 2 people doing work and the wooden chairs don't have backs to rest on. The long tables sometimes won't have charging plugs so you'll have to sit on the round tables. Uncomfortable seats overall.Don't order the white tea if you like tea, I know they even list the origins but you'll be disappointed
