The tacos are $2.50 a pop and worth it. Good portion of meat and the salsas were good. They recommended the chilaquiles, but I would not. Very bland, not much there. It’s basically chips covered in a cream salsa with an egg on top. And it was $16! Kind of feel scammed. That dish likely cost $4 to make. Just stick to the tacos and you can’t go wrong.

Super delicious! I literally said Oh My God - so delicious! when I took the 1st bite of my chicken burrito. Friendly waiter - his smile lit up the place, wonderful food - I had the chicken burrito and my husband had the asada jalapeno bacon quesadilla. The burrito was huge - my husband had to help me finish it! We brought half of the quesadilla home for later! We will be back!

We came because it was supposed to offer a restaurant.com discount. But it doesn't so save yourself a trip. We ordered a shrimp burrito anyhow and was asked to wait 15-20 mins since busy. Then waitress came out about 10 mins later and said that they had no more shrimp. This was on a Sunday afternoon at about 1 ish pm. Hmmm.... Not only that... they have a handwritten disclaimer that prices are subject to change which I missed. And I was a little confused at first why my bill was so much higher. But it's just a laminated printout... so pride in ownership should dictate to them to change the menu since it's just a print out. Despite the reputed "hidden gem", we were glad they ran out of shrimp and had to cancel our order ... we will most likely not be coming back. Pity.

Very nice little place in a historic 1910 house. All food is homemade. We had fish tacos and they were delicious. Especially loved the salsa and chips. No whole beans on the menu but the owner (I believe) was happy to accommodate me.

Not a good experience for us: (1). Cook didn't wash after using the bathroom. (2). They didn't tell us the menu prices were wrong until we saw the bill and asked. (3). We showed them our Restaurant.com certificate when we ordered but they didn't tell us it wasn't valid until we got the bill (and owner got snarky when we complained). (4). We had to ask for utensils and napkins. I hope they do well but we're not going back.

My boyfriend and we're down the street and decided to try this place out. Ended up becoming one of our new favorite places to eat. I had the potato taco plate and he had the posole bowl and a fish taco. Everything was amazing hands down 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Our sever was amazing. And everything was 100% authentic and worth the wait.

This is my second time coming to the place. I ordered a Chili Verde burrito via phone. When we got there our food was not even ready. My burrito literally tasted like nothing! No seasoning what so ever . Sauce looks like water. My cousin got the carne Asada burrito and they put white rice in it. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! Save your money. Ohhh and I forgot this burrito was $17

This place was an amazing experience, a hidden gem in OC. We actually got invited to go there with a couple of friends that have been there before on comedy night and we went there a few times after and ofcourse whenever we feel like authentic Mexican food this is are spot to go to. The owners there are so friendly from the moment you walk in until you leave. Everytime the experience gets better and better. The food is so tasty and has this twist of freshness to it and zestyness to that we tried a few other places in OC but this place tops them all. Btw menchaladas are of the hook. We will be back again again that is for sure!!!

My wife and I decided to go to this restaurant Sunday morning at 10:30 on September 18th. At 11:45, we decided to leave because we still had not received our meal. The wait was beyond my patience, so when I went to the counter to pay for the coffee we did receive, the little girl at the counter was rude and offended because we were leaving. It appears she had no concept of customer service.

This place has great good but one problem, they just don't ever pick up the phone. And they close at 7pm. They NEVER pick up the phone no matter what day you call. Grubhub just canceled the order because they said the restaurant wouldn't pick up. I guess they are so busy that they don't need the business. Very pissed
