If you are looking for a great burger and incredible sides with a cool relaxing vibe, then The Habit is your spot. When I was younger and would surf around the Santa Barbara area. Stopping at The Habit was always a high flight of our trip. Well the thrill is not gone. The food still hits home and is as fresh and satisfying as it ever was. Everting is cooked to order and always fresh. The Santa Barbara Char was our choice this visit with fries and onion rings. The fresh sour dough and avocado is simply amazing. The sour dough bread was so fresh and toasted perfectly. The burger was cooked to perfection medium and the toppings added the additional taste we love so much. The fries and onion rings were both hit and cooked perfectly, crispy and so good. Our drink of choice was a root beer. Always a love being able to refill our drink. The staff we're friendly and our food was prepared perfectly.

This was my first time going to the habit, and didn't know what to order. Melvin was able to help me out and was very patient with me. He was very charismatic and suggested the club sandwich and it was delicious.

Extremely terrible service came in for an order pick-up off of the app and the ETA was completely wrong I received cold food and attitude that was not necessary asked to speak with a manager so I was referred to Kay, Melvin walked around the corner while Kay was in the kitchen so how they spoke must have been through telepathy. I asked her regarding app and time and she said "you want to talk to me nothing going to change" so this will be the last time I ever order from the habit I'll just use my birthday char and leave it at that
