Yang Ming in Villa Park is impressive!
Since 1st visit knew we found a special restaurant. Has become a welcome addition to Our Go2 cuisine options & still is in 2025!
Incredibly high quality cuisine w/ extremely fresh ingredients! Really like that back room large table for semi private event or special occasions.
Cuisine is authentic and menu is full of dishes that taste spectacular. Some new changes for 2025 👍
Have full and expansive lunch and dinner menu with great values & large portions.
Inside is total surprise...hand painted birdcages w/ top shelf tables and wooden booths. Even has separate area for pickups and bar area. Has a private area for more discreet enjoyment.
We really always enjoy each visit and expectations are exceeded.
Highly Recommend

Great food, nice people, always kept an eye on the table. Keep their distance for our privacy but all it took was a glance and they were available.
I used to really enjoy this place, but lately it's gone downhill. I've noticed the portion sizes have been shrinking gradually, and now when I order takeout, the box is barely half full. This isn't a high-end spot where small portions are expected.
Consistently high quality food and service. Been here about 20 times, always great. Diverse menu with many novel flavors. Yang ming is 6 out of 5 stars.
Yang Ming is a great local spot with consistently tasty food and friendly service. The crispy Szechuan beef is a standout—crispy, full of flavor, and just the right amount of spice
The Mu Shu Pork was delicious! The combination of pork, sauteed Asian veggies, and soy plum sauce is what I crave!
Presentation is excellent, and they serve you salad, soup, chips, and sweet and sour sauce, and the food is OK except " Barely Any." My partner and I went for lunch and were very very dissapointed.
I heard so much good things about this place but unfortunately we will not go there ever again!. We ordered 4 plates for lunch. We thought we can take some home for my daughter. Unfortunately we left hungry with close to $70 bill.
Imagine $70 lunch for 2 people. Unacceptable! For all the work they do with service and presentation if they only add bigger portion, which might cost them $2 more (their cost) would made this a much better experience , i would give them 5 stars, and they would not lose customers. All restaurants blame this scarce in food service to the economy. This is BS. A $2 extra put in a bit bigger portion is not going to break their bank and will get them a lot more customers. What a shame. There is a say that goes, eyes are what eat and not mouth. Impress people and don't disappoint them.

Use to go to Green China on Tustin but they shut down so I was looking for a Chinese food just as good as them and Yang Ming didn’t disappoint. We got the orange chicken, magnolia beef, chicken chow main , and fried rice and everything was delicious. It was $50 for all 4 items but it was pretty good portions. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning

I was really sad when I ate this food. The orange chicken wasn't crispy and the white rice tasted old and undercooked. The lo mein noodles was my least favorite item because the noodles were slimy yet dry at the same time? I don't recommend...

I have eaten at your restaurant for years and I had the best cashew chicken I've ever had for my dinner. So often there are very few cashews but this had plenty of cashews and was very delicious.

Excellent food and service. The mu shoo pancakes are fresh and tasty, but could use a bit more filling in each.

Look, if you are an OC local here, you already found out about this place and this is your go-to Chinese spot for probably the next 50 miles at least. If you are not a local here, please don't come because this place is always busy, or at least order takeout so I don't have to compete with you. Service and Atmosphere are relatively the same as all other Chinese spots, the food though is pretty dang good. I would be very surprised if you were craving Chinese food and were satisfied by this place.
