Very Busy...kinda noisy depending on where u sit...Patio has TVs (here comes Footbal season)
We stopped in at the bakery portion of this restaurant and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and kind and gave us amazing recommendations! We had the ding dong cake, cinnamon rolls and pecan roll. And they were all to die for! Will be coming back here again
I had Mediterranean chicken skewers. It was delicious. Rice, pita, grilled veg.. it was very good. Server was friendly and attentive. Fudge brownie dessert is killer. There is a bar which was busy and folks having a lot of fun. I’d like to come back and try lunch.

Rockwell's Cafe & Bakery is the best place to eat in Villa Park, offering a great vibe and delicious food. The menu items are a bit predictable, but the food is always great. Specific favorites include their club sandwich, which is a favorite in town, and a delicious filet n breakfast. The roasted artichoke is an excellent starter. The baked goods are top tier, with pastries from the great bakery being a popular choice.
The overall experience is exciting, especially on the weekends when everyone seems to have a great time. There is live music and rest TVs. The service is mostly awesome and top notch, with specific staff members noted for being sweet, kind, friendly, and going above and beyond. However, some younger staff have shown a lack of professionalism, with incidents of rolling eyes and making jokes about customers within earshot, which creates a not great and not the most welcoming vibe. The atmosphere can also be loud, with the potential for drunk people using unacceptable vocabulary due to the presence of a bar, which may not be ideal for families.
Despite these points, it remains a place where many will continue to come and enjoy.
