My visits to a Starbucks is usually an incidental occurrence. For example, we sometimes stop at the one in Placerville for a refreshment and comfort break when driving from the Bay Area to Genoa. In the case of this Orinda Starbucks (next to the Theater), Gayle was meeting a friend's (who had recently passed) partner to offer her condolences in person. I came too as moral support and over black coffee and a bagel (and cream cheese). It was a Sunday (yesterday) and we were there from Noon - 1 PM (which seems like an odd closing time). The place was lightly attended and I was served by a nice Barista, who was clearly in training and trying her best. My refreshments were good and as expected.

For the 2 Nd time, I went to this Starbucks location and, even though their hours and days indicated they they were open...they were closed with no posted excuse. I will never go to this branch again.

Came at 2:20 on a Sunday, only to see the lights off and doors locked. I tried looking for any signs with an explanation but there were none. Hours on the door state they close at 3 everyday. Anyone know why it was closed before 3?

This is a nice little Starbucks in a convenient spot. Quick stop off of highway 24 in Orinda. Usually good convenient parking nearby. Fast friendly service. Clean restaurant with the clean bathroom. Staff observing all covid-19 safety procedures.

Had to bite my tongue and remain calm. I got passed up in line and cashier did not do anything about it and continued ringing that considerate person up. I am getting really disappointed with Starbucks arrogance.
The plaza is classic and kept it well that way. Starbucks is smaller than many other starbucks, but it was still good.

It's not a good place for a tea drinker but, they do have a couple of teas that are o.k.Also one of the smaller coffee shops in the area, not a place to hang out.
