Tacos Locaso, a casual taco spot off the I-5 in Orland, offers a mix of hits and misses. The carne asada tacos are praised, but the carnitas and al pastor fall short, with the carnitas being too dry and the al pastor too greasy. The torta de carne asada, however, receives high marks. The nachos could use more toppings, but the adobada tacos are deemed delicious. Absolutely one of the best places to get a huge burrito full of flavor. Friendly service and fresh food. The carne asada was great, superb flavor and tenderness and no gristle. Tortilla was fresh and warmed to perfection allowing it to hold the beans, cilantro, onions, sour cream, sauce and meat in a delicious balance. Best taco truck in Orland! They have grilled onions! Shredded chicken AND they actually put more than just meat beans and rice in their burrito. So many flavors! Always fresh! Always the same! Great prices! Always friendly. If you looking for some good Mexican food you must give this place a try. The staff was friendly, the food was tasty and the menu was fairly price. A big thing that caught our eye when choosing this place is that is was very clean. Despite some parking challenges due to wet weather, the overall service and food quality make Tacos Locaso a worthwhile stop for those passing through the area.
