1st time having breakfast here yesterday and had to come back today because it was amazing! Portions are huge!
Saturday breakfast consisted of Huevos Rancheros with carnitas, fruit instead of potatoes, loaded Bloody Mary (a meal in itself), Breakfast Burrito (massive) with carnitas & house potatoes and today Traditional Avocado Toast with fruit, glass of champagne, regular breakfast of 2 pancakes (OMG😋), bacon and perfect poached eggs. Coffee is bold and delicious too.
Staff was on point and service is fabulous! It’s going to be our go too from now on. Food prices are within budget for the amount they serve you.

THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! AFTER A HIKE, WE CAME HERE AND WERE TOLD THERE WAS A 15-MINUTE WAIT FOR 4 SEATS. WE WAITED OUTSIDE, WATCHED THE WAITRESS SEAT OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO ARRIVED AFTER US, AND NOT ONCE DID SHE OFFER US OUTSIDE SEATING OR INFORM US OF ANY OPTIONS. SHE HAD OUR PHONE NUMBER BUT DID NOT CALL US WHEN SEATS BECAME AVAILABLE. THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE, AND THE TREATMENT WE RECEIVED WAS DISGUSTING. THIS IS THE MOST RACIST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT!!! YOUR BUSINESS CONDUCT IS OUTRAGEOUS AND DISGRACEFUL. Service sucks.. we waited 20 minutes just to have a group of people go ahead of us cause we were not offered the out side patio. Then we spoke back to the lady at the desk for her to roll her eyes to tell us she sorry like she didn't care .. that's horrible business then still told us to wait some more to clear out the table. At approximately 1150-1220. Will not suggest this place.

I went in on an afternoon to have lunch with my wife. We had placed our order and somehow it was lost or was not sent in. They didn't come over to our table to explain this or apologize. After waiting 36 minutes, it took for me to walk up to the counter and to ask where our food was. Due to time constraint, my wife had to get back to her job. We didn't have time to eat and had to have the food placed in containers to go. Finally, 43 minutes later the food was brought out to us. How does that happen? Would have been nice for an apology or a discount on our meal. THAT WAS VERY RUDE!! The waitress must have felt embarrassed and didn't know how to apologize. Shame on you, Ethan's Eatery. I will not be back and I hope people will read this and think twice about eating there! 😡

I come here everytime with my husband and friends anytime we are in Oroville. The wait time for food could be quick or could take up to 40 minutes. And guess what? Its worth it. I thought I knew yummy French fries until I tried them here. WOW! CANT BE BEAT! Plus the food is always phenomenal. If you want food within 5 minutes just go through a drive thru...bye. This local restaurant is the best of the best. If you want GOOD food youll have to wait and itll be worth it. If you read any negative reviews or anything lower than 5 stars, thats coming from a person who's in a rush and looking for a problem. This is the best spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

THIS is the place! Ethan's is clean, with a cozy environment but has a porch if you like. The service was fantastic, very attentive and prompt. My family ordered 3 meals, that didn't take long to cook at all considering the place was a little over half full including the patio. Hubby got the chicken fried steak, the portions overflowing. His food was hot seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I got the Sampler platter with blueberry pancakes. Bacon was crispy and the scrambled eggs that came with it were the BEST scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life! (I would love to learn their secret!) My daughter got the carmel banana waffles, what a decadent treat! Overall, presentation was lovely, atmosphere was great and their food tastes like it's been make with a whole lot of love. It's my new favorite spot for breakfast on town. Bravo Ethan's!!! Next time, lunch!
