Why take reservations if it’s meaningless?

This was our 1st Thanksgiving dinner at Larsen’s and I can’t thank them enough for making it such a special one! Having all our children & granddaughter together was such a special moment for myself and my husband. It wasn’t our typical family tradition and I’m so blessed that it was even better than that!! Thank you SO MUCH to Alex that really made it all the more special!! Our server Eddie was so patient with all of us and his service was excellent!! As for the food, WOW!! It was DELICIOUS thanks to Chef Benito and his team! I definitely recommend anyone to plan a Thanksgiving dinner at Larsen’s at least once! Thank you Larsen’s for going beyond my expectations and making our 1st non traditional Thanksgiving such a wonderful experience. You never know, this may have been the start of a NEW tradition for us! 😉

My wife and I went out to dinner here, Saturday, November 22. We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while so we figured we’d give it a shot. The service was interesting to say the least. It seemed like most of the staff we’re working their first ever restaurant jobs just a few weeks in. They were very nervous and awkward. The waiter never checked in on us from the time we got our dinner served up until we asked for the check. When the waiter asked how everything was, I had shared that I was bombed up my ribs had a lot of very small pieces of bone, almost like the butcher messed up when they cut it. The waiters response to me was “thanks for letting me know, we’ll keep an eye on that for next time“. He didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was disappointed. It’s really sad because the flavor of the food was great. Just felt like we were in the middle of a high school class project with the parents cooking in the kitchen and the kids running the front of the house. For the price of the food it’s not worth it.

Salmon and chicken and asparagus were all overcooked. Pretty pricey for mediocre food. Nice ambience. Would go back for a burger

Food was good excellent as always. A group in the bar area was loud but didn't ruin our date night. Larsen's delivered as always.

Always great, but I was a little disappointed in the steak this time. Seemed tough and not as good tasting.

The food is typically amazing, but this time around the special was overcooked. I will still give it another chance, since typically it is very good.

My wife, daughter and I went to Larsen's in Oxnard on 11/15/25 at 6:00 pm. We decided to celebrating out 14th wedding anniversary at this establishment. We ordered the Tomahawk, and when it came out the first time it was burnt and tasted bitter. The waiter took it back and brought us a second one, but that one was raw and extremely undercooked. He took it back again, and when it finally returned, it was semi-burnt. At that point, we knew we would never order the Tomahawk again. To be honest, I'm not sure we'll ever return to Larsen's at all. The experience—specifically the food—was far below the standard we've come to expect. I don't mind paying $350 for two and a child when the food is excellent, but this was shameful. We've celebrated our anniversary at Larsen's for the last three to four years, but this year—our 14th—was very disappointing. The waiter did the best he could, but the kitchen failed us completely. Management truly needs to address these issues, because the business will suffer if this is the direction things continue to go. Overall, our 14th wedding anniversary dinner was a horrible experience, and the food quality was nowhere near acceptable. Larsen's is definitely dropped off our list of restaurants to frequent. Sorry for the terrible review but unfortunately we had a horrible overall experience Glen Moriwaki

We enjoyed a girls night going away dinner for my sister there at Larson's in Oxnard. The food was great. Server fantastic. Prices high. Overall what we expected from a very nice steak house.

Gene

Excellent food and atmosphere with a unusual lapse in good service which is normally not the case.

Eddie our serve gave great service. The food was fantastic, deserts are massive. Extensive wine list and deep bench for spirits.

This place is a disappointment. Took my family here for birthday celebration. My daughter drove all the way from LA to celebrate my bday, but to our surprise food is not great. The spinach dip is just really spinach and cheese on top, its not even creamy. The Hawaiian Tri-tip I ordered was burnt, over cooked and hard to bite and chew. It's like rubber. My daughter ordered Tri-tip and it was the same, overcooked, hard to chew. Will never come back to this place ever. This place will ruin your occasion, just like what it did to mine. This place is not recommended.

My husband and I were do excited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I ordered a rib eye steak and a Mai Tai drink. The Mai Tai was strong with no flavor. I asked them to put more pineapple juice but it was still tasteless. My medium well steak was very salty and tough. My husband ordered the Hawaiin style tri tip. It was flavorless and tough. They did give us dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We paid $210.00 for a mediocre meal. Do not spend your money here!!!
