It was good. Not great but good. The food came out quick after we ordered. My wife loved her salmon apppetizer. The Vico I ordered was good. A little too much oil made middle a little soggy. The pizza had good flavors though.

The closest to a real Itailian pizza I've had in the U.S. And I love love love their Caprisi, just add ur own balsamic vinaigrette they provide at every table & it never disappoints.

The pizza is sophisticated, but the atmosphere is casual. Service is not exceptional, but adequate. You should get one pizza per person and expect to need to-go boxes.

Living in Naples, Italy turned me into kind of a snob about pizza so when I saw that this place had the Vera Napoletana sign in their window I knew I had to try it. And they had my favorite from Naples, the Cappriciosa, and it was just as delicious 😋! I could taste the San Marzano tomatoes and the dough was so good too. My new favorite place for authentic pizza Napoletana!

Second hand embarrassment from having an establishment like this one in my hometown. But I guess it says a lot when I’d finally decided to give this place a shot. Friday evening decided to meet my friend for some drinks and pizza, we arrive and told the wait was 20mins, after waiting over 20 mins I ask the host about how much longer, they say again 20mins, no problem, I see they’re totally busy but some tables are clearing up but it shouldn’t be much longer. They basically never contact us to be seated and took us off the list, after asking to speak to a manager because the wait time has accumulated to 2 hours!!! She was the most distasteful experience of it all, and called us liars because I said we never got a text our table was ready. Now, having worked in the service industry for years this is unacceptable. To not only not take accountability for terrible service but to turn and blame it on the guests is not good practice and would recommend managerial training for Ms. Pilar Ortega. I’m understanding that it could get busy on a Friday night and really would’ve just been okay with the apology and accepting accountability, but to turn around and say I’m a liar for not getting a text is beneath me. I hope this is addressed as it should be, because I forsure will be sharing with all
my friends and family about the horrific experience here at Settebello Oxnard.

Pizza that is wood fired, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time, and I really didn't know if I would like it since I go elsewhere. The pizza was thin crust, with spicy pepperoni- excellent.

This review isn’t about the food because the food is always stellar here! It’s also not about the service, which is hit and miss, depending on who’s working and serving you. It’s about the fact that I walked into the female restroom to a woman having to change her baby’s diaper on the bench! Diarrhea diaper on the floor, very little room to do anything… the poor woman and the poor baby! She was embarrassed about the diaper on the floor and remarked to me about it. The female restroom is always a mess at this place! There’s either no soap or paper towels all over the place, the sink is a mess, and it seems they very rarely attend to the female restroom. I may be out of left field but I do believe the 2 guys who started this place in Utah are from a State where no one understands more about baby needs in a public restroom; and in a litigious State like California, it baffles my mind as to why they do not have a changing table in the handicapped stall, or anywhere, so a mom can change her baby in privacy and have the space she needs. With everyone else in this State getting what they want, they truly missed the mark for moms. Tisk-tisk! I also want to mention that it’s completely disgusting that a food server (young chap with professionally curled hair and holding his jeans up with a piece of twine) chews blue bubble gum, letting it fall almost out of his mouth like he’s a movie star or a thug, and moving it all around over his tongue as if he were going to blow real bubbles with it every 5 seconds. I have no clue if there’s a rule about this in the food service industry, but if there isn’t, they’re definitely should be! First of all, from a professional stance, everyone knows you should not chew gum when you’re working. Second, it’s so gross watching someone do that with their gum all over the restaurant acting as if he is the best thing since sliced bread and I am just SO grateful he didn’t serve me my food! Who knows what could have been flying out of his mouth all over the food with the way he was smacking that blue gum! So yuk!
