Discovered this little gem accidentally. Went in for a coffee, but couldn't resist trying a donut or two. I used to see a lot more of these in my younger years, but never went (we were all about Winchel's back then). Spudnuts blows all of the others away! Staff is always cheerful, and that is icing on the cake.
We decided to get breakfast from Spudnuts for the family. We got over a dozen pastries, including a cinnamon bun and a fritter, plus donut holes. Everyone loved the selections, particularly the cinnamon bun, which we agreed was one of the best we ever had. The highlight, though, was the giant donut with strawberry-flavored frosting, which the kids all enjoyed splitting. It was an indulgence, and a satisfying one to boot.
