We climbed the steep steps, intending only to enjoy a nightcap, but were greeted with such unexpected enthusiasm that we knew this would become a destination whenever we visited Oxnard Harbor. \n\nNot only were our drinks perfect and the service, a bit slow,but very friendly, but the crowd was congenial, and our greeter invited us to join her table.\n\nOn our second visit we asked for her by name , and had to chuckle that she was just a patron, albeit a regular. Loud music despite being empty (literally no patrons) at lunch time. Nice view from the balcony (could use some repairs out there, the stools are the same height as the tables so awkward to use), but they misheard or mistakenly got my order wrong twice. Probably a good spot for drinks in the afternoon, but food at lunchtime I would not recommend.
