It was my first time and I'd definitely come back! The food was delicious. Here you order and the counter and seat yourself. We all shared a cinnamon roll, it was 4 of us, so to share was perfect, especially while we waited for our food. I ordered the chiliquiles burrito, which was delicious. It was big, I had to save half to take home. The salsas were delicious as well. Ambiance was vibrant and the service was kind.
Delicious food. Service at Tomas Cafe in Oxnard was even better. A cafe that has that down home feeling. Hospitality is the word I’m looking for. Speaking for myself, the food is just as important as the service. This place does it for me.

I ordered through DoorDash. The smoothie was amazing! The most ripe banana I’ve ever had! The biscuits and gravy were only OK. I’m sure the Mexican food is good, but I didn’t order it this time
