Food was so good and so very excellent. But the waiting is so so bad. Last time we waited for almost 40 minutes and when we checked it was in the food to go. We were so hungry but there’s one more problem. I ordered chicken enchilada for my husband and gave us cheese enchilada. We waited for the chicken enchilada and got it fast. We will still be back. Thanks
I always thought that L.P. was the end-all, do-all Mexican restaurant (not to mention the fact that I live four-blocks away from L.P). until I ate food from Los Cantaros at Lake Merritt. It's IMHO a long way to drive (my special needs son lives nearby and we go out for dinner there weekly). By comparison though, L.P 's is boring and lacking in flavor (I'll probably make some enemies with this because I know people who feel that L.P. is some of the best Mexican food in The Bay...read full review
