From the outside, I didn't expect the charming restaurant inside. Really charming. Handmade pasta really made a difference in all the dishes we ordered. The Italian caesar salad was a super starter and clam chowder yummy. We loved the pasta dishes we ordered although tempted by the fish and meat choices. We ate up at the bar and the bartender was a great conversationalist and server. The tables around us were filled and everyone seemed to be enjoying the ambiance and food....
Many years ago I went to Il Vecchio, I did not have a pleasant experience then but now.....it was fabulous!! The ownership changed, the dishes are true Italian cuisine. The portions are so large you definitely will want a take home box.
Excellent dinner! Everyone in our party of 4 loved the dinner choices we made. Our server was very attentive, the cocktails were made perfectly...but their food is amazing. We can't wait to return.
