If you have the privilege of getting married at The Holly Farm you will have the incredible opportunity to have La Crème be your caterer/bartenders/decorators/rental coordinator/etc all weekend long! I will start by prefacing that La Crème + Holly Farm give their 1000% to every wedding that happens at their venue, which means you won't really begin working with La Crème until about 2-3 months prior to your wedding date. The first month or so will be spent talking through ideas and inspiration, likely doing your tasting (which is a literal 5 star experience) and the last two months is where you will really get a final breakdown of cost and timeline. If you are a slightly anxious/overly organized bride like me, I know this can seem stressful. I suggest you ask them early on for a realistic estimate based on the number of guests and events you will be having. And then..add an extra 15% on top of that, and set that money aside as you are going through your planning process, because trust me, you won't want to skimp on what La Crème has to offer. Now that the money talk is out of the way.. the service and food that La Crème provides is out of this world. We had an Indian/Mexican fusion wedding and had all our food and alcohol handled by La Crème for the entire weekend. It's not a typical process where you pick from a list of options based on a fixed menu with prices. La Crème creates every menu from scratch based on the couple and their preferences, and then they adjust based on your budget. Chef Joe and Tamie's team had just a few conversations with us about our cultures, favorite foods, family preferences and then they created an entire world personalized to who we are as people. Perfectly marrying the cultural cuisines in a fun yet respectful way, taking our request to dedicate a bar to our dads and creating the *cutest* Dad Cave with all their favorite brands of Scotch & Mezcal, and seamlessly making everything appear and disappear like magic. Aside from the food being incredible, our guests felt taken care of at every moment. They are not just caterers, they are the people who make sure you aren't getting too chilly in the evenings, they are the energy keeping the drinks flowing at the bar as friends order round after round (after round), they are your partners when families decide the day of the wedding they are coming and you need to change the seating arrangement, they are a familiar face that comes up to you at the reception and tells you how happy they are for you. They are everything you could want, you just need to have faith that they will step in when it's your turn and they will blow you away at your wedding.A special shout out to Tamie, Chef Joe, and the sweetest Soquel for making us feel so special all weekend long and treating our family like your own. We are so lucky to have worked with you :)

La Creme truly knows how to take care of people and how to make dreams come true. Regardless of what type of food you and your guest are interested, whatever style, they will make sure to get it done. The presentation and layout is the talk of the town and we overheard our guests saying that this is the best food that they've ever had at a wedding.Tamie, Michelle and their team is also incredibly helpful in giving you tips and suggestion on how to get the most out of your budget. They assist you with each little step and are excellent with the tiny details in order to make your event truly stand out. We highly highly recommend them and they're a fantastic group to work with.

One might want to pay particular attention to the hostess with the fake green hair... It's amazing how she could ignore your requests especially when you're next to receive a table. So many Customer service-related complaints about this restaurant that it strains me to begin the story... But in the word: No. Food was better than average, customer service was ridiculously bad.

Incredible experience by Chef Tammy and her entire staff. Design what you imagine in your perfect scenario and it will be brought to life! I also posted this to Yelp but Chef deserves the extra attention on Google too. Thank you for providing 150+ guests with memories and experiences they'll talk about forever!!!

Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, let us linger for hours without hassle. Recommend the guava mimosas. The spinach and mushroom in the Eggs Benedict weren't seasoned, which I don't understand, but the hollandaise was nice, the eggs were perfect, potatoes good. Great experience.

Our wedding venue works exclusively with La Creme Monterey and it's not hard to see why. Their food and staff set the bar in each of their respective categories.La Creme catered, staffed and handled the rentals for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. After an initial meeting with Tamie, Kristen assisted us with the remainder of the planning. Pro Tip: do not be afraid to give them a ring for specific questions. Both Tamie and Kristen are always kind and accommodating. We were grateful that part of La Creme services include handling the rentals for both events as it lifted a major element of the day off of our shoulders.I was very impressed with how La Creme and their staff were able to make our rehearsal dinner and wedding two individually spectacular events. For the rehearsal dinner we left the tablescape decor in their capable hands and we were so glad we did. Our wedding day dinner setting had many preplanned elements from the floral artistry to my last minute crafts, but La Creme still brought their special touches and took it to the next level. For those of you who could give a hoot about Pinterest projects and decorations, your section is here. Let's talk food. La Creme's menu options are vast and each description is more mouthwatering than the next. Their menu absolutely translates to real life. Something we keep hearing from our guests is how amazing the food at our wedding was. Anyone who's been to a wedding knows that this is a huge compliment and relief. An added bonus, La Creme makes conscious ingredient choices. Every menu option is created from organic, non-GMO and locally sourced ingredients. Even so, their pricing is incredibly competitive which is pretty amazing for that level of quality.La Creme's staff sets the bar for service. Their staff members make a point to care about your guests and your day. It's obvious that they are there to do a great job and leave a lasting positive impression.

La Crema makes a fantastic Americano. The pastries are all very good too, as are the breakfast burritos. This is my favorite coffee shop around town.
