I love this place for the ambiance. It’s very cozy, good music, with plenty of seating and a large fireplace. The coffee was surprisingly good: rich, deep, and strong. The latte reminded me of Vietnamese coffee. The only slight downside is cleanliness. The floors and bathrooms could use a deep clean, and the lack of toilet seat covers is a miss. Otherwise, really like this place and will be back.
It’s great to see more customers and the renovations give off good vibes. PG Meetinghouse is a great, laid back coffee house with excellent coffee and food items. We skipped eating brunch as Sunday’s music duo was way too loud for the size of space so hardly conducive to enjoying a meal. The duo has a following, so maybe the two hour brunch could be advertised as a concert. Also, many customers walked out as there weren’t enough tables and chairs. Bar stools at the window...
Change of ownership, but thankfully kept the same atmosphere and interior design. Cozy, authentic communal area without overpriced drinks/pastries.
Edit 11/24: just visited again, and they did change a lot of the interior and it has a very different look now. Doesn’t feel the same as juice n java, but it looks like the new owner has a new vision for the place.
