We always love the food and the staff. Last night was not an exception. Truly appreciate the pricing of the wine. Great values with a very large selection and a wine list that gives informative descriptions that are grouped by color, grape and taste.
This was an absolutely amazing restaurant, and probably the best food I've ever had in Monterey. I've been to Monterey many times (coming for Monterey Car week religiously since the 90's). We decided to do a fun weekend trip north from Santa Barbara and decided on trying PassionFish. We were blown away by the food and the service. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the brussels sprout salad and fried California squid to start....
Another one of our very favorite places in the area. And we're not alone! The small waiting area was mobbed as usual. The food is delicious and innovative without being overwrought. The wait staff are nice. We once again had a great time there. They advertise that they serve great wine at fair prices. Which is generally true, though I spotted a bottle I purchased 5 days before at k&l for a Christmas present that I think stretches that a little bit.
