Another one of our very favorite places in the area. And we're not alone! The small waiting area was mobbed as usual. The food is delicious and innovative without being overwrought. The wait staff are nice. We once again had a great time there. They advertise that they serve great wine at fair prices. Which is generally true, though I spotted a bottle I purchased 5 days before at k&l for a Christmas present that I think stretches that a little bit.
One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in California. You can taste the chef’s experience in the dishes, perfect portions, service warm yet discreet, good atmosphere and once again: THE FOOD is really phenomenal.
I'm yet to give a 5 star review. This is as close as it gets. The California Fried Squid was a great start. The entrees were fabulous. The Roquefort ice cream was damn good. This place is a keeper. Thank you chef.
