Vivolo's Chowder House

Absolutely incredible from start to finish!! Food is absolutely fantastic (specifically the clam chowder in bread bowl and fried calamari). They are to die for! Also, the white chocolate cheesecake was the best thing we've ever tasted in our lives. Service was also the best ever. Will definitely be coming back, and highly recommend this place to everyone:).

The chowder is yummy but also quite salty. I had the chowder in a cup + bread and butter. I was a bit miffed that I paid $2 for bread and butter and they gave me stone cold butter and bread that had been sitting out for awhile. Maybe the chowder in a bread bowl is a better choice.

It was a mellow experience. I wasn’t blown away by the chowder but the Caesar salad with grilled chicken was excellent. A bit pricey and service wasn’t super special, so I don’t know if I would return.

Clam Chowder didn't have Potatoes in it... and was not thick.. but tasty. The fried Clams were good.. and the fries. The staff was great

Had clam chower it was great chunks of clam, nice creamy broth. Wine glasses arrive filled to the brim. Wait staff very attentive. It's a bargain and a delight.

Delicious New England style clam chowder at a fair price point within walking distance from the Aquarium.

Great tasting, fresh food, especially the clam chowder and squash. The food could have stood to be a little hotter, but it was still very enjoyable.
Nice service from kind employees. The restaurant is a little small, but I think it was cozy.

My friend & I were craving Clam Chowder so I Googled the top Chowder places in Monterey & Vivilo's came up. I also love Chowder served in a Sourdough Bread Bowl so I ordered that with the Garlic & Cheese baked bread lid. Wowwww ... it was soooo tasty & garlicky.
We also ordered the fried Artichoke hearts which were excellent & my friend had the Sand Dab Fish Tacos. We will definitely be back again but I must say that Bread bowl was addictive so that will be reordered again & again. Yummmmm !
