This was our 2nd visit. The food and service are terrific. The eggplant parmesan appetizer is stellar. The fried calamari is exceptionally light and crisp, and our meals were served with unobtrusive care.
It was dinner time while we finished shopping at Palisade Village and we searched Yelp for a place to eat. We ended up finding Casa Nostra Trattoria across the street from the shopping center. We got there early so there were still seats outside. We were quickly seated and provided a menu. After going through the menu we decided to order from the Special Chef Menu and ordered the following dishes: Special Octopus Salad - Great, this dish was surprisingly tasty and well seasoned....read full review

Excellent service, and extensive, interesting menu choices, including an impressive list of specials. Duck ragu was delicious, as were sand dabs (which are hard to find and greatly appreciated). Having learned it was our anniversary, Casa Nostra gave us a delightful surprise--delicious housemade tiramisu, best I've had in a long time. Also a good wine list, reasonably priced with Italian selections as well as California.
