We stumbled onto this restaurant on our travels through hwy 35 and decided to try it. We reviewed the previous Yelp reviews but relunctantly decided that we would stop for 2 reasons; 1) we saw their happy hour banner and 2) we we hungry. As it turned out, their happy hour items (large hot sake $3 and $1 Oysters) did not disappoint. The Oysters had a seasoning sauce on each..probably green onions and a bit of topiko, so NOT your typical raw Oysters. It was surprisingly delicious....read full review

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon/ evening. You just need to make sure if the gps is taking there to the right location or not . You might miss it and still driving . The restaurant is not a fancy one . It's rather very casual. They have so many different kinds of sushi and other stuff . Happy hour is also real . I ordered California rolls and bento combo box . A few things to note about 8 Sushi. Notice the big storefront sign with their specials and happy hour. Yes a literal happy hour from 4:30 to 5:30. Seriously!? Regardless, if that doesn't discourage you from entering, well the sushi is just fine. Not bad, not amazing. Just fine and basic, which works if no frills is what you're in the mood for.
