I’ve been a fan of The Green Enchilada for many years. The owners and staff are phenomenally warm and will remember you.
I’ve been here countless times since before the expansion into the neighboring unit and always bring out-of-town visitors for lunch or dinner.
I’ve never had an issue ordering vegan options.
Sizable menu with many options, including vegetarian options and some less common items, such as the potato and bean burrito (get it with extra fresh veggies, cheese, and salsas - it is much better than it sounds!) Almost everything is very customizable, but the posted menu in the restaurant does not list all of the options, so check the online menu and know what to ask for. Meal plates (chile relleno, enchilada, etc.) are ample and great for a solid meal after a day at the beach...
This location is like a hole in the wall but their food, portions and food is not bad. We ordered to share: Aguadita ( Chicken and cilantro soup). It was delicious. Not salty. Perfect. We each ordered: carnitas burrito, black fish ( tilapia) burrito, lomo burrito reg, lomo burrito with avocado, and carnitas tacos platter. The burritos were huge. I only ate half of my lomo burrito, and my mom ate half of her tilapia burrito. The meat was all tender (steak and carnitas). We definitely...
