Wonderful waiter. All our food was great except for the crabcake. We ordered scallops and halibut for dinner and they were both excellent. We were unsure of which wine to get and we were helped and ended up with a perfect pairing The view was stunning and we might have even seen the green flash just as the sun went down.

It's been two months since I dined there and the food quality slipped. Not worth the cost. Calamari was substandard. I order Calamari every time I dined there and I regret ordering it.

Beautiful day in Del Mar! Lunch was excellent, notably the Pasta Fra Diavlo and the Ahi Salad. Service was attentive; small mix-up with drink order remedied quickly. food is well-prepared and fairly priced, view is outstanding, lovely afternoon!

We enjoyed our New Years Day lunch @ Pacifica Del Mar. Great food selection, beautiful presentation, great view, service was great, too. I think that there could be better signage to realize where to go as the restaurant is upstairs and no signs lead you up there. Great experience.

Waiter provided subpar service. He forgot to take our order until we flagged him down with out menu. Not a welcoming vibe, more like he did not want to be there. He was not very attentive. He would spend 2 seconds to make sure food arrived. Other than that, it appeared to be a chore, or a mandatory script, to see if we wanted dessert. Which by then we were just annoyed by his disappointing level of inattentive service. We weren't going to give any more opportunity to spend our money with him. I don't even know his name because he never introduced himself as our waiter, not does the restaurant require their staff to introduce themselves (according to Eli the manager).

It's always a delight to eat here. Everything on the menu is delicious, even wonderful choices for those who aren't fish lovers. I had the swordfish and it was outstanding! I love that the atmosphere is not as loud and crazy as nearby restaurants.

It may very well be me.......but the quality of preparation appears to be less than in previous years. Maybe it is just associated with holiday meals........however, the burnt cream should have a “hardened” sugar top....it did not have that. I went with the turkey dinner entree........the turkey was plentiful, but it looked and tasted like something from a can....and the cranberry sauce was AWFUL. Again, this is merely my perception based on several years of experience dining here.

Enjoyed a lunch with friends which was outstanding in every way. Half of our party of four opted for breakfast dishes and half for lunch dishes. Both types arrived hot and perfectly prepared. The omelette, Eggs Benedict, burgers, fries, and sides were perfection. As has been our usual experience, Pacifica Del Mar has consistently offered excellent food as well as attentive, but unobtrusive service. We always return!

Beautiful time to sit in the elegant surroundings of Pacifica Del Mar. Thank you staff and owners. Food was excellent. Ambiance perfect.

The seafood was perfectly prepared. Del Mar Holiday street lighting added a festive atmosphere and the perfect ambiance for a night out. The noise level allowed us to catch up with our friends.

Lunch with a good friend. First, our server was OUTSTANDING - gracious and patient. The bread was delicious and my friend had the new Cobb Salad which she loved. I ordered the Seared Tuna Salad - WAY over dressed, almost soupy. I should have sent it back. I could only eat the protein and leave ALL the vegetables that were swimming in the dressing.
