This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the first time… First of all, I wanna say how clean it is, including the bathroom.
The food was absolutely phenomenal… I had the Rojo Chilaquiles with Carne Asada and it was delicious.
The service was awesome and they were very nice and had a great fun atmosphere.
Will definitely be showing up again soon… And the waffles by the way were amazing.

Great place easily and quickly became are go to weekend spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch. Cafe de olla is delicious, aguas are always hit. Haven't order something i wasnt satisfied or would order again. My favorite is the chilaquiles.

Don Chon Menudo & Mexican Cafe is a classic Pacoima comfort spot known for big, bold plates made with love. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and homemade, with amazing standouts like the best chilaquiles and the fantastic Chilaquiles divorciados. Other notable dishes include the sweet Berry Berry, the hearty Don Ribeye, and the perfect morning plate El Mañanero. The cafe con chata is also a favorite. The environment, with Spanish music, feels right at home.
The service is amazing, welcoming, attentive, and impressive, making guests feel comfortable. However, some feedback notes that the menudo, once highly recommended, has recently been inconsistent, with meat that was extremely hard and uneatable on occasion.
Overall, it is a neighborhood favorite where both the food and service are consistently great, offering warm service, homestyle flavors, and portions that don’t play around.
