Agave is a hidden gem. Kevin is an absolute professional and it’s nice to get such good service and quality food in the valley. The drinks are some of the best we’ve had, and we drive from LaQuinta just for the raspberry lemon drop. It’s so good! This place is worth a visit and Kevin will take care of you, it’s a local treasure with seriously good food and fantastic service. Stop in!!

Ordered a shrimp basket with fries and a chicken sandwich with veggie sticks ($3 extra). Shrimp was ok, fries cold. Chicken looked like it wasn't fully cooked and only filled half the bun. Veggie stick? LOL...pretty pathetic and looked like the cucumber sticks had been frozen. Very disappointing for $100 meal for 2. Cocktails were nice and strong though.

Very disappointing. For a Westin brand name resort, this restaurant was more like a very casual café probably better suited for poolside eating rather than a steak dinner. It was a barbecue night and I love barbecue so thought this would be a fitting outing. I had the skirt steak and my partner had a bbq pork sandwich. Both were served with french fries which we traded for mashed potatoes and vegetables. The server told us there would be a two dollar up charge while we noticed the table next door got the exchange without an extra charge. The food was mediocre and service average.

Jeremiah is the best. Jeremiah remembered us from last year, and is the epitome of service. He’s personal, he connects, and goes to the extreme to provide an incredible experience. Kevin is awesome as well, he’s all over anything and everything. He always has a great drink or food suggestion. Special shout to out to Enrique too.

Kevin and Jeremiah took amazing care of us. We remember them from being here last year and they remembered us which was amazing. They gave us great service and had food recommendations based on our dietary needs. Would definitely come here again just to see these guys!!

We ate dinner here the first night we arrived because of the convenience. We were so glad we did that we visited a second night for dinner! When we entered we were greeted with a smile and allowed to pick where we wanted to sit. The meals were both delicious, well cooked and delivered quickly. We will definitely try breakfast or lunch next time we’re in town.

We were looking for a place to have a quick dinner and did not feel like venturing out. It was also taco Tuesday and the prospect of reduced price tacos and margaritas was tempting. There is a nice bar along with high top tables and traditional tables. The dining room was very bright, and we opted to sit at the bar. We were taken care of by Kevin who did an admirable job of managing a busy bar. Kevin‘s advice was helpful as we were going to order the happy hour tacos, but he pointed out that they were just not as good as the ones on the menu although they were cheaper. For the second time today I had tacos companion, and I split the shrimp tacos and the grilled mahi tacos. The tacos were on double wheat tortillas and had a nice selection of veggies as well as pineapple in them. An aioli was served on the side along with salsa Verde. The margarita was happy and priced at $12 and was a pint glass. Well-made. Overall, a lovely experience and worth another visit. Besides tacos, flatbreads and the like they do have a couple of more substantial entrées on the menu, such as pasta, salmon, short ribs, and skirt steak.

We were very hungry for lunch and this did not disappoint. We were taken care of by Joe who did a wonderful job. We each had a drink, a margarita that was excellently prepared, and a pineapple drink topped with a mound of whipped cream. Lunch was shrimp tacos that were delicious. Order of two large tacos each in a double tortilla, with veggies and aioli, and a salad subbed for the chips. Companion had a chopped chicken southwest salad, also great. Check as expected for a hotel restaurant. Atmosphere nice, next to the pool.

We stayed at the wonderful Marriott Desert Willows Villas. The first night we were tired from traveling, so we headed to the Agave Grill after checking in. It wasn’t busy; it was early. Large windows open to the lovely resort. I’m sorry, but I can’t remember what any of us had to eat! But we were all very happy. Drinks were good; I had some drink special they offered that night. Good service, nice ambiance. It was exactly what we were looking for!

We are staying at the Westin and decided we wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve close by, so we went to Agave Grill and Bar. For $65 a head you got an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I started with a fresh and tasty beet carpacio that had candied walnuts, goat cheese, micro greens, and cherry tomatoes on thin slices of beets. The dressing on this was delicious. My husband chose lobster bisque for his starter and loved it. The lobster was plentiful. We enjoyed the fillet mignon and tiger shrimp entree with garlic mashed potatoes, colorful mixed carrots and squash, and a yummy sauce. Our server was Paloma and she is so friendly and helpful. She made the meal lovely. On her recommendation, we chose the tres leches cake for dessert. Wow! I've never seen tres leches prepared or presented as this was and it tasted as good as it looked. We didn't have the highest expectations coming into Agave, but everything was top notch. All of the food was plentiful, delicious, and beautifully plated. The chef and their team know what they are doing. Give this place a try! We will be back!

Every time I'm in Palm Desert, I make sure to swing by Agave Grill & Bar. The atmosphere is so cozy, and the food is always on point. Seriously, their guacamole is like a little slice of avocado paradise!
