The service was fantastic, our waitress was attentive and had a great personality Ordered calamari - was great, fresh, hot and came with red and white sauce The El Malecon steak and shrimp was tender, prepared just like I ordered and the sauce had a great flavor. The Mai Tai was also delicious.

Super cool loungy, years gone by ambience. Impeccable service and delicious Peruvian Cuban cuisine. There was a live band to add to the vibe. It was loud so a little hard to visit in our booth, but overall an excellent eating experience.

Very nice dining experience on a Tuesday during Palm Springs Restaurant Week. We took advantage of the dinner package and were very pleased. My wife had one of the very best Prime Top Sirloin steaks I've ever tasted. Attentive service. Great dinner entertainment provided by a piano player and then a 3-piece R&R band. We will return to sample more items from the menu.

Lively restaurant serving Cuban food. It's had the Cuban sandwich which was tasty. Large sandwich so you won't go hungry here. I'm took my leftovers home. My we Fe had the Saltado which she said lacked flavor in her opinion. Drinks were fine. Great band which starts at 7pm. They are great everyone was dancing to the great tunes. I would highly recommend especially for large groups. Would definitely come back. Excellent and friendly service!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Babaloo Lounge. The food and service were excellent. The ambiance and vibe were cool. And the band was fantastic. Five stars from these first timers from Big Bear. We will be back!

We traveled to Coachella,California for a bachelor/bachlorette trip and choose Babaloo Lounge for dinner one evening. I found them online and saw some good reviews and decided to give it a try. We had a fabulous evening! The live music played a good mix, including several songs that we all knew. We had a large groups of 13, The waitress and other staff took great care of us , our drinks were always full, prices were very fair, all the food was incredibly delicious and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

Live band in this very large restaurant. Unusual & creative food not available anywhere else in the valley. Full bar and many great appetizers. I highly recommend the Cuban caprisse. Very unique. The ahi tuna preparation & sauce is great as an entree along with a good Chardonnay. The chicken marsala is also a treat. Always fun to go to Babaloo's.

What a pleasant surprise! Huge restaurant inside and a quaint outdoor patio. Service was spectacular, as well as our El Cubano sandwich. Loved our experience here and would definitely return next time we come to Palm Springs!

Food is good, plentiful and interesting dishes. Wife had ahi rice. Ahi was fresh and the sauce was excellent. I had the Cuban sandwich. Absolutely excellent. There was live entertainment, 60's rock music. The volume was not too loud the band was pleasant, the vocals were difficult to hear as the sound system was not well balanced. Overall we will go back.

A great visit on Saturday night. Our service was very personal and attentive. Impressive with a live band going with hits from the 60's & 70's. Lots of fun for dancing and not too loud for the club. Good wine and craft beer selections. Our meals were excellent. Well cooked with a combination of wood fired Cuban flavors. We ordered the sampler special, the ahi appetizer, the Babaloo salad, & the chicken marsala. Good presentation, good flavors, and timely service. Absolutely nothing to improve. Comfortable booths and lots of space make Babaloos a regular visit spot.

I arrived at 7:10 for. 7:15 reservation. Hostess asked if we could wait at the bar for 10 minutes while they got the table ready. After almost an hour at the bar I told my wife I think they have forgotten us . She went to the hostess and yes they had forgotten they sent us to bar. It took about 10 more minutes to get a table. Then literary no one ever showed up to wait on us. I asked a server if they could find our waiter and he never returned. Then I approached the hostess and asked if anybody was going to wait on us..... she shrugged , I got my wife and left.
