This place, anyone who eats here will love it. The dishes are exquisite, the atmosphere is family-friendly. Juan is a very attentive waiter. My wife, my daughters, and I are delighted to eat at Casa Luna.

Best hidden gem in Palm Desert for authentic delicious, fresh made Mexican food & amazing margaritas! Pepe & staff are super attentive & so kind. Do not miss it when you're in town or if you're a local. #smallbusiness #familyowned #supportlocalbusiness 🍹 😋

Went here for dinner with some friends on a Sunday night. They have a nicely decorated patio with heaters but it was still chilly so we ate inside.
The staff was super friendly. The starter chips and salsa were really good (spicy and very crunchy!). Minus stars mostly because I ordered a taco salad and it was underwhelming. I'd definitely go back and try something else. My guess is I ordered wrong. My friend's tacos looked very good. I will say she paid to add rice and beans and the portions were very small (not that you need a lot but still....).
Anyways, would def go back bc the place has promise and I love supporting local businesses with friendly staff.
Service was just okay.
Worst food at a mexican restaurant i have ever had.
Cheese enchilada had almost no cheese, super small.
Chicken enchilada was small and the chicken was dry with no flavor.
Enchilada sauce was not good.
Rice was dried out no flavor.
Ate part of it and had them throw the rest away.
Sorry for the bad review but it was just not good.

Great food! Interior is a bit cramped - especially during peak hours.

I would not recommend this place. I came here for happy hour and was about to leave when I saw the pricing but stayed hoping to be surprised. Service was initially good, although slow, until the food dropped. My order was incorrect and by the time someone checked in (10 minutes later) , I was looking to leave. I gave my card and mentioned the mistake but was reassuring it was all alright; not sweating the small things. The manager came out a minute later and refuted me ever ordering anything different. She assured me I was in the wrong and had made a mistake. She then handed me a check with extra charges on it, not even related to my messed up taco. Food was decent.
Double check your bills here or better yet don’t go at all.

As a born and raised Mexican, I have very high expectations to give a restaurant five stars.
But this is a real thing, I visited on October 2024, I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with poblano cream sauce. They were to die for and presented very nicely with a side of beans and rice.
The portion was generous I didn't make it to dessert, so I will have to come back to try either the guava plant or the Mexican corn cake.
Service was great and the place was spotless.
Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back.
Prices are competitive.

Casa Luna is hands down the best Mexican food in the Coachella Valley! The authenticity of the dishes is unmatched, with flavors that transport you straight to Guadalajara. Every bite is a burst of fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste makes it clear that the owners, who are originally from Guadalajara, are passionate about sharing their culinary heritage. My favorite is thr breakfast burrito but, everything is off the charts. If you're craving authentic Mexican food, Casa Luna is the place to be.!
