So, so glad to see Tanya's back! Actually she's been back for awhile, it's just taken me awhile to post this review. I initially went to Tanya's place Native Foods when I first moved to the desert 24 years ago. Then she sold Native Foods, bummer. But so happy to say Tanya's Kitchen is just as good if not better than Native Foods. I can't say enough about the Guadalajara burger - amazing! The pozole is great, the parfaits very tasty, the fries perfectly done. As always great friendly staff. Oh and the ambiance is wonderful, great food and gift items all around the restaurant. This is the Palm Desert location.

I don't nominally give bad reviews but Sriracha Cheesy Panini was awful barely any Cheese or Avocado, just a bunch of soggy tasteless onions. Very disappointing and way overpriced. Certainly not like the photo from the biz. My wife got the curry bowl special, It was ok again not worth the money. The only thing I liked was the chocolate mousse. The other desserts were not good. If you want good vegetarian food go to an Indian restaurant. I don't get all the 5 star reviews I guess they are not used to good food.

I have been here numerous times for breakfast and lunch and I highly recommend it. Between myself and others we've selected many dishes and all good. I really like the tempeh burgers.

Read about this place and wanted to try it .from a glance the menu seamed simple,a lot I've never tried. The place is big, about a block long.its a store, desert place ,food with a surplus of books for sale. Everything is so over priced. Our bill was $66.00 for 2 people that included the tip, yes expensive 2 sandwiches, mediocre fries and 2 sugary drinks. If there's a next time I'll skip the drinks and the tip. There were a lot of staff everywhere you looked, the disappointment was at the end. We wanted desert and had to wait in line for the one person in this whole establishment that could ring us up, we left without desert.

Chef Tanya pours her heart and soul into every dish she creates, driven by her passion for animal welfare. Her vegan cuisine is unmatched, earning her the title of taste bud best friend. With grab-and-go options available and soft-serve vegan ice cream at the Palm Desert location's Kreamery, CTK makes it easy to enjoy delicious food on the move. Visit either the Palm Springs or Palm Desert location, or swing by a Tower Market for a selection of CTK's sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Indulge yourself and make a compassionate choice for both your taste buds and the animals. Treat yourself and savor the experience!

Tasty food that I assume is healthy lol and decent portions! I like that they have hot food made to order as well as a selection of ready-to-go takeout options in their fridges. My favorite was their chili burger and their fries did not disappoint! Decent amount of indoor seating. Also liked how they had knick knacks to browse like coffee beans from specialty roasters, candles, funny cards, etc

Great healthy food, my favorites are the salads and the burger is amazing. Four starsThe ambience, while nothing special is nice and relaxed. 3.5 stars.Pricing is a bit on the high side. Three stars.Negative one star for the fact that they don’t accept cash and they have guilt tipping ontheir payment screens. The staff is really nice

No MSG No Garlic Foodie

This was the top search result from Google when I searched for 'gluten free' and 'vegan'. My friend with Celiac Disease would not do well here – no gluten free bread. There were many items with garlic, and since I am garlic sensitive, I was forced to break my eczema prevention no wheat diet. We ordered BLTAs and I added cracked cheese (I expected a vegan cheese slice) but it was like mushed cream cheese which made my sandwich thick, soggy and messy to eat. I was very impressed with the tofu bacon, so we came back three more times. I tried the Coachella Forever and Mini Greens salada. The key lime dessert was apparently very delicious. They have fridges and freezers full of take-away items, and a pantry shelves full of Japanese flavours and I really want to take some home with me. I bought the mango lime dressing, but it started sweating after three days, so I ended up throwing most of the jar away. We bought a blueberry pie, by it wasn't like a real pie, so we threw half of that away as well. BLTA is the only item we like and we will come back for it, the levain sour dough was chewy and I enjoy the tofu bacon a lot. If they offered gluten free bread or even use Vietnamese rice wrap on the sandwiches for a gluten free option, we would have eaten here many more times.

Had the ‘Modern Hippie Veggie’ sandwich yesterday and it was delicious! Their ‘crack cheese’ is amazing. The service and atmosphere here was also pleasant. My only criticism is that I feel it’s a little expensive for a small-ish sandwich.

Wow! A total gem! Outstanding vegan restaurant with HOUSE MADE TEMPEH!! What a treat!Really weird location, in a strip mall among the golf courses and condos... but inside find a spacious vegan cafe with amazing hot food, specialty groceries, handmade items, super friendly staff, cool decor. Great vibe.I really appreciate that they are loud and clear that they are vegan, not some whitewashed corporate "plant-based" inoffensive focus grouped PR nothingness. Not a Nasdaq listed factory-made highly processed food-product in sight -- instead, they have house made tempeh, (so impressive!) flavorful sauces, and local products.Strongly recommend for anyone passing through. Absolutely worth getting off the 10.Vegetarian options: Entirely vegan menu
