An absolutely fabulous evening celebrating my husbands Birthday. Three of us had the fillets and they were excellent, perfectly cooked, tender and tasty, much better than what one gets at a steakhouse. My husband had the coq au vin which he thoroughly enjoyed too. Arturo and the team are the best. Always a must visit whenever we are in the desert. Birthday dessert was delicious too, and apple galette.

Chez Pierre has always been a treasure, and the tradition continues. Dined there last night with friends, for our anniversary, and it was a memorable dinner, start to finish. The pate and escargot were top notch, and the menu was complemented by 6 specials. Tried two of them - sand dabs, and steak au poivre, both sumptuous. With first rate service and a QUIET ambience - this was a first rate dinning experience. We missed seeing Pierre, but love the painting of him over the bar.

I come with my elderly mother, and am always treated with respect and great service. Arturo is fabulous and remembers what my mother drinks. Food is delicious, and both my mother and I like this restaurant the best for delicious meals, great ambience, lovely service, and the family feel.

First time visit and would definetly return. Food and service was great. It is in a strip mall in Palm Desert and while you can see the mountains from the windows at the back of the restaurant, you can also see Route 111. Other than that I would definetly recommend and return.
While I didn't try it, our table of seven gobbled up the breads and pate. We all did the three courses, and ordered of the menu. The salads weren't spectacular, and the goat cheese was pretty much missing from the goat cheese salad. Two people ordered the French onion soup, and both really enjoyed it. Everyone who tried the escargots liked them, too. Dinners we'd recommend are the tartare, veal, and braised beef. Everything was tasty and fresh
