I had the Oregon Sand Dabs. They were excellent. My husband said the duck breast was one of the best preparations he had ever eaten. We really love the food at Chez Pierre as well as the friendly wait staff.

One of our favorite restaurants in the valley. Superb presentation, value and taste. We had the liver and orange roughy. Friends said it was the best liver they had had in recent years.. Always enjoy the pate & fresh bread. Never disappointed!!

This restaurant is fabulous. The food is great and the service is wonderful. All the employees are such nice people. Very attentive. They serve my favorite which is sweetbreads. I highly recommend Chez Pierre for a fantastic dining experience.

Our party of four senior citizens all love French food and have sampled many of the French restaurants in the Palm Desert area. We were thrilled with tonight's diverse menu, where the two guys devoured the liver and onion dish - they practically licked their plates clean : - ), while the gals thoroughly enjoyed two fish specialties. Also gaining perfect scores were the soup of the day, the caesar salad, the escargots, and several desserts. As seniors, we sought a quiet corner table. Chez Pierre perfectly accommodated that request. In sum, we each committed to 'many happy returns' to Chez Pierre.

This was our first time at Chez Pierre Bistro and it definitely will not be our last. The food was absolutely fabulous; melt in your mouth delicious. All of us selected a different entree and they were all prepared perfectly. We also enjoyed a cocktail ahead of time that was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to come back.

Lovely and cozy French bistro. Food was great and service was very attentive. We loved the frog legs and the chicken liver pasta. They also surprised me with a birthday dessert! I did not mention my birthday when making the reservation and it was two days away but they brought me a chocolate mousse and sang me the birthday song. What a pleasant surprise! I love this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again next time we are in town.

This is a very small inside-only restaurant. The ambiance is very nice and cozy, with nice sized tables to accommodate either 2 or 4 diners. The cocktails and wine by the glass are very reasonably priced, as are the appetizers and entrees. My escargot appetizer and veal kidney entree were excellent. Service is courteous and attentive. In my view, the best traditional French food in the Palm Desert area.

Dinner was on a Thursday at 7pm. There were only two other couples. We were seated about three tables apart from the nearest couple. After the other two couples left, I realized we had the restaurant for ourselves. Then a new couple arrived around 7:30pm and they were seated right next to us... Really? The whole restaurant was empty. It felt awkward trying to have a private conversation.

This is as French-authentic as you'll find. It's a bistro like you'd find in Paris on the Seine. And it's reasonably priced. We'll be back when we visit again.

Genarally ,always a enjoyable dining experience at Chez Pierre. Introduced some friends to the restaurant this night with good results. Everything went well altough the server knowledge of the food preparation prevented one of our diners to change their side dish to veggies of choice due to allergies, All in all ,a pleasant Saturday date night.

Love this restaurant. Food always terrific and I have seen up to 9 specials on any given night. Never had a better filet mignon, and I have had them everywhere. Super service always. Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the desert.

Our first time dining at Chez Pierre, even though we have been full time desert residents in LQ for 7 years. Normally my wife doesn't like French cuisine with a couple of exceptions, but she was going to try Beef Bourguignon, a dish that she loved in France, but when she saw the Steak with Pom frites, she changed her mind. the Service was excellent, right from the greeting by the charming Hostess to the well trained attentiveness of our waiter. The water and bread showed up within a minute of when we sat down. We asked for a table in a quit area (I'm hearing impaired) and it was perfect. The ambiance is not like so many noisy restaurants that feel they must be vibrant with noise to be popular. We're beyond that stage and like to be able to carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. Probably why we don't eat out much. The value of this resturant is TOPS. They haven contributed to inflation like so many chains have with 20-30% increases in entrees since Covid. There menus is unique and VERY fairly priced. We were only sorry we haven't tried Chez Pierre until now. We will be back, OFTEN. I would add that we had originally reserved for Thursday night, my wife's Birthday, but she became ill a couple of hours before we were due to dine, so we cancelled at the last minute and re booked through OT with no problem. They even surprised us with a nice (rich!) Birthday desert to share. A lovely evening, and plan my many more there.
