Food is just okay but, the atmosphere is great and the management is exceptional.

Enjoyed the stuffed sole and Fisherman's Pasta. Many great choices between entrees, tacos, apps, etc.
This restaurant is independent of the Marriott Villas umbrella.

Cocktails were good, ordered Long Island ice tea’s, cup of soup, lobster bisque and clam chowder was good and flavorful but for a small cup for $12-$15 each wasn’t worth the cost. The bowl is $24. Entrees are $35 large serving sizes and you can certainly share. The service was horrible,Ricardo served our table.from the get go he judged us, made us feel unwelcome, and that he had better thing to do. We split the tab with our table. I tipped $10 in cash and the server came back to our table and gave the $10 back to me and said you must have given this by mistake. I said no this is for you it’s your tip. I pulled him to the side afterwards and asked why he said that and he said that he thought I left it by mistake I said no that’s why I wrote cash tip. Sooo… in theory he was upset that I only tipped $10 on $130. Sorry but since the bill was so expensive this is all we could tip based on the service we received and his response says it all and I certainly have never been treated like this before. His manager needs to address this employee and refrain him from ever giving this service again or fire him. I’m here for two weeks and to receive this service on day one is so upsetting. I want the company or management to address this situation right away. And for every person to understand that you will be treated based on how you look.

Dine in or out with heaters . Varied menu from seafood ,steaks ,tacos ,& sandwiches.Sea Scallops were very good. Service was prompt & efficient. I have been here a couple times over the years without a reservation and have always been able to get in. One thing to keep in mind it’s not part of a Marriott chain. It’s Independent restaurant.
Really good family owned restaurant that isn’t owned by the hotel, so they control their own quality foods. Went here 3 days in a row during our stay. Tried the cheeseburger, Hawaiian combo, and Cajun mahi tacos. All were yummy but the mahi tacos were the best!!!!!!! Highly recommend. Lots of fish in the taco. Really good portions for all their meals. Very friendly service - Guillermo G was lovely and had great recommendations!

We ordered simple food and what we had was good. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly! Dinner portions appeared to be huge!

This place is not worth the money. Cocktails were good. Salad was good but the Halibut was terrible. I hate paying for food that is horrible. Don’t waste your $. Highly disappointed. Fish tasted like it was reheated fish cakes.

We went for an early dinner. Seated quickly. Server was very pleasant, brought us drinks.
We started with fried pickles, they were delicious, nice and hot and crispy. Needed to be seasoned a bit better which seemed to be the theme of the night
I ordered the seafood grill, wife got teriyaki chicken. Both were ok but really under seasoned, kinda bland
Portion size was large. Fries were crispy and the coleslaw was decent
Honestly I expected the food to be a little better since it was in this hotel but compared to the other restaurants onsite it's lacking. More basic bar food or Dennys level if anything. Was not worth 105 dollars
Like my wife said, the pickles were the best part of dinner.
Service was good though
You can do so much better for dinner at this hotel

Got the fish and chips platter with Cod and shrimp. They were delicious as well as the fries and coleslaw that came with it. Enough to share. House Margarita was yummy and generous as well.

Went to have fish and chips it was close to 7 pm. I guess it was almost closing time cause when we got our food less than 10 minutes, the fish was really dry ,very disappointed 😞

That was overpriced bar food. The calamari was cut in stripes and overfried. The shrimp tacos were more cabbage than shrimp. Food wasn't worth the price. The service was outstanding. Our waitstaff was just great.

Conveniently located in the JW Marriott. Excellent food, friendly staff, but very expensive for lunch. I got the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, which while they were delicious, for the price, I expected them to be bursting with shrimp. I didn't want the sides offered and asked for a basic garden salad. They added it for $8 with no adjustments for the sides. The salad was ok, but a basic garden salad. We had a large group, which they handed well and everyone was very pleased with their meals. 😋☺️

It pays to check reviews. I was totally disappointed with the fisherman’s boat . It was a big plate of grease ! I came from Colorado to celebrate my friend’s 70th birthday . I could tell he wasn’t happy with his choice of fried Sea Scallops either.
I personally am not a big fan of Bay Scallops and to my surprise that was what was somewhere hidden in my plate of disappointment . I couldn’t eat it and acknowledged that to my wait staff person. Nothing else offered to rectify my disapproval. Too embarrassed of good intentions gone bad! Won’t be going back.
