We ordered simple food and what we had was good. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly! Dinner portions appeared to be huge!

This place is not worth the money. Cocktails were good. Salad was good but the Halibut was terrible. I hate paying for food that is horrible. Don’t waste your $. Highly disappointed. Fish tasted like it was reheated fish cakes.

We went for an early dinner. Seated quickly. Server was very pleasant, brought us drinks.
We started with fried pickles, they were delicious, nice and hot and crispy. Needed to be seasoned a bit better which seemed to be the theme of the night
I ordered the seafood grill, wife got teriyaki chicken. Both were ok but really under seasoned, kinda bland
Portion size was large. Fries were crispy and the coleslaw was decent
Honestly I expected the food to be a little better since it was in this hotel but compared to the other restaurants onsite it's lacking. More basic bar food or Dennys level if anything. Was not worth 105 dollars
Like my wife said, the pickles were the best part of dinner.
Service was good though
You can do so much better for dinner at this hotel

Got the fish and chips platter with Cod and shrimp. They were delicious as well as the fries and coleslaw that came with it. Enough to share. House Margarita was yummy and generous as well.

Went to have fish and chips it was close to 7 pm. I guess it was almost closing time cause when we got our food less than 10 minutes, the fish was really dry ,very disappointed 😞

That was overpriced bar food. The calamari was cut in stripes and overfried. The shrimp tacos were more cabbage than shrimp. Food wasn't worth the price. The service was outstanding. Our waitstaff was just great.

Conveniently located in the JW Marriott. Excellent food, friendly staff, but very expensive for lunch. I got the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, which while they were delicious, for the price, I expected them to be bursting with shrimp. I didn't want the sides offered and asked for a basic garden salad. They added it for $8 with no adjustments for the sides. The salad was ok, but a basic garden salad. We had a large group, which they handed well and everyone was very pleased with their meals. 😋☺️

It pays to check reviews. I was totally disappointed with the fisherman’s boat . It was a big plate of grease ! I came from Colorado to celebrate my friend’s 70th birthday . I could tell he wasn’t happy with his choice of fried Sea Scallops either.
I personally am not a big fan of Bay Scallops and to my surprise that was what was somewhere hidden in my plate of disappointment . I couldn’t eat it and acknowledged that to my wait staff person. Nothing else offered to rectify my disapproval. Too embarrassed of good intentions gone bad! Won’t be going back.

Wow what an amazing Restaurant.
The Fisherman's Landing at JW Marriott Palm Springs is really a Hidden Gem.

The Fisherman's Landing at JW Marriott Palm Springs is the best restaurant around the hotel. It really delivers a great dining experience , and reasonable prices, and beautiful surroundings.
JW Marriott property, it manages to offer both value and excellence. We normally like to travel to Hawaii for a nice special vacation experience. But sometimes it’s hard to travel with different schedules. But we found a amazing option not travel far and still experience extraordinary travel.

Their world-famous fish and chips are outstanding. My absolutely favorite dish is the seafood pasta and the crab quesadillas.
Everything tastes great please try the Crab quesadillas so delicious. The cook deserves an award!!

Also our waitress was Cassandra she is so amazing. She was super polite and give us amazing experience and service. She was so sweet to our son made sure he had everything he asked for.Very family friendly restaurant. She is truly amazing and super professional and very kind.We had bad experience at the sushi are Japanese restaurant that the hotel offered. It was New Year and they had no table and were booked out and offered us the bar.

The girls in the front that were in charge of seating's were super unpleasant and kinda arrogant. So we tried the bar no warm food was told grill is broken. So we decided to leave and look for something else. All dressed up we found this hidden gem.It was less luxurious like the Japanese restaurant are Sushi restaurant. But the food and the people are outstanding in service and kindness. We were so comfortable to be there.Thank you for the great service and excellent food!!So we ended up dining here until our vacation was unfortunately over.So we decided to come out there now every winter vacation. You guys deserve more than 5 stars.⭐️

Fisherman's Landing at JW Marriott Palm Springs: A Hidden Gem

The Fisherman's Landing at JW Marriott Palm Springs delivers a great dining experience , reasonable prices, and beautiful surroundings. As a great restaurant within the upscale JW Marriott property, it manages to offer both value and excellence.

Their world-famous fish and chips truly live up to the hype. Perfectly crisp batter encasing flaky, tender fish creates a beautiful dish.

What particularly stands out is the pricing structure, especially for cocktails. At $10-12 less than competing venues in the area, the drink menu offers remarkable value without sacrificing quality or presentation. This pricing approach makes enjoying a leisurely meal with drinks much more accessible.

The dining environment provides excellent flexibility with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor area offers particularly beautiful views that enhance the overall dining experience, creating a serene backdrop for enjoying your meal.

Service quality clearly matches the food standards, with attentive staff contributing to the positive atmosphere. Whether you're a hotel guest or local visitor, Fisherman's Landing deserves a spot on your Palm Springs dining itinerary for its combination of quality seafood, reasonable prices, and lovely setting.

Food was incredibly disappointing. Basic and amateur almost. I’m fine with spending $45 on a meal that’s actually well done, but my spouse and I both had luke-warm plates that had almost a cafeteria-like flavor profile. Alternatively, food at the Rockwood Grill on property was infinitely better. We’re not from the area, so hopefully this helps guide others who are in the same boat.

Terrible tacos, overcooked then undercooked fish, and no accommodations made from the ambivalent manager. Diner beware.
