We really enjoyed our dinner at Il Corso! The branzino was excellent as was the tagliatelle with bolognese sauce! The dining room is beautiful, and the servers are very capable and pleasant. A really nice choice for Italian/Mediterranean food in Tucson!
Had a great dinner here with 4 friends. Seafood spaghetti, shrimp scampi and osso buco. Everything was flavorful. Cocktails were great, chocolate martini was extremely good! Desert was also tasty. Our waiter Johnny was very attentive. One of our party has balance issues and fell getting out of his chair. Within seconds, 4 waiters were there to lift him back up. Very impressive and kind. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Italian food. Very nice ambiance too!
We ordered the fried calamari which were good with a nice spicy dipping sauce. Salads were good. Wife had a pasta dish and I had the veal cutlets (Saltimbocca) which were good with a nice sauce and good mashed potatoes. The spinach was disappointing and frankly could use garlic and seasoning. A nice coarse creamed version could be better.
