The food was great!!! I sat at the bar during happy hour. I was practically ignored. Service was super slow! No eye contact, and the male bartender never checked on me. I love Islands! However, this location, the bar area, needs re-training in customer service!!!

Had the Hulu Chicken sandwich - delicious and cooked perfectly. Service is exceptional while atmosphere is typical for a chain restaurant.

Islands in Palm Desert is has a nice little surf restaurant vibe that if you're in town must visit, out waiter was kind, attentive & food was 10/10.⛰️??️

I've been here multiple times & never had a single problem with service, drinks nor food this is actually my first time leaving a review.
Expect young vibes nothing fancy and expect a laid back out attentive service.

Dietary restrictions: Staff follows very well any dietary restriction you may have.
Parking: The parking lot is quite big, but I shared with other local shops nextdoor.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair access into the building as well as tables that may be adapted for the disabled.

We came here for a family dinner. The service was great. However, the food is very mediocre. The only thing we all truly enjoyed was the tempura green beans.

Sat at the bar and ate sweet potato fries, and had margaritas and a drink called a botanical breeze I think. Cucumber mints, and lemonade with Saint Germaine. Rene, the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Great service good food when I’m in Palm Desert again this will be an option.

Service wasn't great, the guy at the door is useless, we asked for a high chair for my child never got one, had to grab it ourselves. The server forgot ranch,drinks and never asked for a refill until I was literally paying the bill. Burgers were tasteless.. only thing good, were the fries paid over $100 for three adults... kids shared with adults one person got a margarita. I guess we are not coming back.
