Based on the reviews, Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar is a really good and surprisingly inexpensive place. The service is amazing, with a server who was accommodating and responsive. The food is super delicious and comes out fast with very large portions. Diners enjoyed the 88 combo for 2, the famous low country one, the singtuare combo, crab legs and claws on a garlic butter and lemon pepper sauce, and an oyster po boy with sweet potato fries. The restaurant is very casual, serving dinner in a plastic bag, and is not overly loud. It offers easy parking, is clean, and is open late until 10pm. The teen grands picked it for Sunday supper, and everyone loved the food, though there was way too much for one person. The price is very sweet for an expensive location. Diners plan to return and try a Poboy sandwich or the biggest combo.
