This is our second time dining at Mikado. It does not disappoint. Excellent service, great food, and a unique, fun experience each time! 
We had the NY steak and shrimp, Filet Minon and lobster mainly for our party. Food was delicious! Our cook Daniel was great. The servers were ready to provide refills without being asked. Delicious ice cream at the end and we also received some gifts. Great experience... we come every year with family and friends for our summer vacation.
Everything was amazing except there needs to be better ventilation with the grills. Before the chefs came out the smoke from the grill was bothering my eyes. When he cooked it didn't dissipate as much as a normal teppan restaurant

While the entrance may be slightly unwelcoming, the overall experience at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse is highly recommended, especially when the lively parties are not in full swing.
