Mimmo's Italian Restaurant and Bar

The food and service was just ok. Bread service was fine - bland and somewhat stale. Cesar salad was meh. The servers were attentive but will try and talk you in to a pricier bottle of wine that exceeds the per glass cost on the menu. Overall, we felt rushed, like they were trying to clear our plates and get us out. Gnocchi was very good, chicken piccata was average after they mistakenly brought out another dish prior. Atmosphere was charming and the owner was attentive but this is not a place we'd go out of our way to visit again.

We were seated in the expansion area, which just doesn't have the ambiance the original restaurant does. It is very plain and no warmth. Obviously, that does not affect the food or service which were great. Homemade pasta dishes were wonderful and a great homemade burrata & tomato salad.

A Local Neighborhood favorite of ours. Friendly staff. Very pleasant dining experience, with well prepared food. We have recommended and or brought many friends here and never regreted it. Always consistant

My second time here. First time I ordered better. This time didn't care for the items ordered. I ordered a limoncello martini and it was too sweet. The appetizers we ordered were just ok. Caesar salad was mediocre at best. Meatballs were fair. Sausage was fair and polenta and mushrooms just ok.

Our meal was hot and very tasty, served by a very informative, courteous and attentive waiter. We'll be back when we are in the area again.

Great food.....good service....server needed to know better English and know the menu well. Too many unanswered questions.

It was lovely to be back at one of our go to restaurants in the Desert. It always feels like visiting family with good food!

Absolutely delicious!! Food and service were perfect!! Everything was fresh and beautiful!! The burrata was out of this world creamy and the heirloom tomato, had so much flavor. Main - lobster and branzino, beyond wow!!

Mimmo's is our favorite Italian restaurant in Palm Desert. We love their olive tapenade, homemade Burrata with Heirloom tomatoes, their homemade Tagliatelle specials, and their Spumoni Bomba for dessert.

The server was charming and informative, the choices were plentiful, there was no rush either before taking our orders or after service. The cappelini was well received, the eggplant parmigiana was very nice, but the lasagna was overcooked, somewhat dry, thus the four stars rather than five

Good restaurant, interesting choices and authentic. Staff was adequate, however the food was very good. I would definitely recommend the wild mushroom soup, it was amazing.
