This is our go to place for special evening. Usually the food is exquisite. Our last visit however left us a little disappointed with all the fish tasting quite bland. We assume it was just an off night and we'll definitely go back for another try.

Packed, very popular restaurant with cozy ambiance. Truly great Japanese cuisine which makes it easy to overeat but so worthwhile. Best California rolls we've found in the Valley.

We ate here based on reviews and it was not a disappointment. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were perfectly fried in a light tempura batter; the yellowtail in ponzu with thinly sliced jalapeño was fresh and light and topped with delicious micro-greens; the toro, salmon belly, yellowtail belly and seared red snapper nigiri was as fresh and flavorful as can be; and the seared spicy tuna roll was topped with a delicious and light olive oil and herb sauce that I can't describes as anything other than delicious. The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. As a local, I will be back here again and again. They made us feel like we were invited into their home. This is the only place in Coachella Valley we will eat sushi from now on.

We loved our dinner at Musashi Japanese! It is one of our favorite places to eat in the desert!

My husband and I took my parents here for his birthday dinner. We all had a great time and my parent's love it. The sushi was so good as was the ambiance and service.

The Desert Roll is one of my favorites but you need to like eel! The best place in the Desert for sushi since moving from LA. Plus they have tablecloths that takes it to the next level!

This used to be the best place in town for sushi. It's gotten very expensive of late and fish seems to be of lower quality than it used to be. Still good but no longer five stars.

Love everything I've ever ordered -- sea bass, salmon teriyaki, "katsu" entrees. Also, soft shell crab starter and, of course, the sushi.

Love this restaurant! Always great service (Tiffany is my favorite), and all of the sushi is fabulous. The tuna carpaccio is to die for and the hot saki is YUM! We always start with edamame and a cucumber seafood salad.
