Pacifica Seafood Restaurant

Pacifica has been a favorite for many years. Service was really great last night and they were very busy since it was half price wine night.

It was delicious and amazing service! The ambiance was spectacular. We experienced an earthquake but the staff was very responsive and made sure we were okay. Thank you!

Our daughter's favorite birthday dinner. Baked scallops and Louie salad. Great seafood and service. Took grandkids 6 and 8 and they loved it too

Not exciting Felt like buffet style/quality food Prawn cocktail 4 best out of all Good size Caesar salad 1 blah Octopus 3 Forest have flavor not even chorizo Bread 3 sourdough uncooked and smooshed Did not want to stay for further food Presentation needs work/better plates. Disappointing ☹️

Great seafood options. Knowledgeable and friendly server. Scallops were cooked perfectly! Will definitely go back.

The food is always good. The ambience is lovely. However, every time I go, the service is like diner level very pedestrian. The waitress wasn't the least bit warm and friendly. Nobody ever came around for water. It's just always mediocre in service and for the price. It should be much better.

The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful in the service was wonderful. Five stars.

Food is always top notch! Only complaint would be that we were celebrating a birthday and I made it known on the reservation and at check in. I was told that the server would bring a special dessert but that never happened. Slightly disappointed but it was okay.

Party of four dined here for first time and were very surprised by the quality of the food and the flavors. We had a very professional server named Samantha and we could not have asked for a more gracious welcome. Service by the entire team was perfect.

We have never been rushed out of Pacifica before. We had a 6:30 pm reservation and we were walking out at 7:30pm. Our waiter was good in the beginning but never came back to ask if we wanted a second glass of wine. Nor did anyone stop by to refill our water glasses. While we were still eating dinner a busboy asked if he could take our bread and bread plates, was everyone in a hurry to get us out so they could go home early that night? The food was fine but weird how the dinner went. They could hardly wait to clear our plates. Our waiter showed up when the dinner plates were cleared and wanted to know if we wanted dessert. Too late buddy, the've practically taken the tablecloth off our table already! When we visit Palm Desert we always eat at Pacifica. There was no one waiting to be seated when we left at 7:30 so why the rush to clear us out? As we were leaving I mentioned this to woman at the check in stand and she just laughed. The great thing about Palm Desert is there are lots other great places to eat dinner at.

Outstanding dinner. We had my FIL visiting and we went on our last night her was with us . We had a table by the window on the patio and the heater provided perfect heat to keep the chill off. We had grilled octopus and backed oysters to start which were wonderful. The octopus was melt in your mouth which can be hard to do. Our mains were scallops and sablefish. We did the 1/2 order which is a great option when you have had starters. Service was attentive and our waiter had a great sense of humor. All in all a great experience.

Pacifica is always are go to restaurant when we are in town. The service is always top-notch. This evening, we had Jaime as our server. He was so friendly, attentive, and polite. He always had a smile on his face. We had the sugar spiced salmon and pan roasted chicken dish, which were both outstanding. He even surprised me with a birthday dessert, which was delicious. Overall, it was an outstanding evening and dinner!

We were given a private dining experience in the Wine room. Jonathan, our server was amazing. Very attentive. The food was delicious. All around 5 stars.

We made our reservation days ahead for 6:30. Restaurant called me three hours before to change our reservation time to 7pm or 5:30. Neither really worked. We settled on 5:45. Arrived seated immediately. Drink orders taken. I order scallops, received salmon. One dish came cold, one dish had no flavor. Ceasar salad was horrible. Hardly any dressing, lettuce was wet. Felt rushed throughout meal. Busy walkway. One of our guests kept getting hit in the back & head by passerby's. Needless to say we won't return
