I told them what I want fried rice with orange chicken and fried rice with mandarin chicken Bana the ladies name let me know. They don’t have fried rice anymore and the day were already close. The manager of the store is Christian, but he wasn’t here , They supposed to have food into they close. I don’t know. I might be wrong, but they didn’t have a lot of of the food that they usually have they offer me white rice. That’s all they have.

Depending on who's serving, I wouldn't really go there again. Went over for lunch and the guy ahead of me ordered a lot of food and the server was very generous with the meat but when she got to me, she tried to stuff me and I voiced my displeasure. So I wasn't buying for 10 people or whatever but my money's as good as his, right? Another lady served me the day before and I had no issues with her.

Worst smell inside restaurant due to the fact the manager had no common sense about allowing transients who have an offensive smell to just hang out after they’re done eating. Several customers left including myself and the manager said he has to respect everyone. I get it, we should respect everyone, especially the majority of the customers that have maintained their hygiene before entering the restaurant. It’s not an easy problem to process while trying to have empathy for people but we can’t allow our society and businesses to be overrun with homeless people. We need to have respect for ourselves and draw the line somewhere before it becomes like DTLA and San Francisco. I called corporate and will follow up with the health department. I just moved from LA because of this same problem. Not going to allow it in Palm Desert if I can affect change in any way. Also, the septic smell outside the restaurant is absolutely unacceptable. They should’ve put some money into that already. Ridiculous.
Today I was served the portion sizes for a very small starving child.The food has all changed flavors. The orange chicken that is supposed to be spicy doesn’t even taste that good, it’s like it has a green flavor or something. The amount of chow mein that you get is nowhere near enough and probably qualifies as the smallest portion I’ve ever gotten. The people who are serving it probably got ordered to do that by the manager. It was literally not satisfying.This was one of the last places that we would go to to get decent size portions. It’s not a heaping scoop like it should be.

The employee wouldn’t let me try a sample. I don’t eat here (but the kids picked it) so of course I don’t want a big scoop of something that I don’t like. But when I asked to try 2 different items, I was told “we can’t give samples for that”. You would think a place that’s charging $10-15 per person for some mediocre Chinese food could spare a little sample. That’s weird, but to top it off I bought a fountain drink and had to find out for myself self the ice maker wasn’t working. When I mentioned it to the worker, they were well aware but guess they didn’t think to mention this to a person ordering a fountain drink. 2 stars cause the kid liked, Its definitely suited for childrens restaurant because it was mediocre at best.
